Brooks and Dunn Tour Overview

Beginning their careers as solo recording artists who both charted two solo singles apiece in the 1980s, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn joined forces in 1990 through the suggestion of songwriter and record producer Tim DuBois. Since then, they've recorded 11 studio albums, one Christmas album and five compilation albums for their label, Artista Nashville, and released 50 singles — 20 of which have reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. They also won the Country Music Association Vocal Duo of the Year award every year between 1992 and 2006 (except for 2000). All but two of their studio albums are certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America, with the highest accomplishment being their sextuple-platinum certified debut album, "Brand New Man." Their 1992 single, "Boot Scootin' Boogie," even helped repopularize line dancing in the United States!

Although the duo announced their retirement in August 2009, they reunited in 2015 for a series of concerts with Reba McEntire in Las Vegas. Four years later, they were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and announced a new album, "Reboot," which features re-recordings of their previous singles with guest vocals from contemporary country music artists. Just two years after that, the neotraditional country vocalists and songwriters hit the road for the first time in a decade and have been traveling across the country every summer since, bringing their inedible energy to the stage with electrifying performances.
