Crowd Calendar October 2013Just a quick update to let you know we've posted Walt Disney World Resort park hours (and extra magic hours) for October on our crowd calendar for those of you planning trips!

The crowd calendar is a great tool to help you decide when to visit the parks as well as which parks are recommended on a given day. (Click here for more crowd calendar "hints.")

Thank you for the clarification. That was my initial understanding but then I read somewhere that there's not a big difference between green and yellow traffic lights if the overall crowd level is the same, which made me wonder if giving up the EMH was a bad idea. I appreciate you taking the time to clarify for me!

I'm a little confused about how much of a difference there is between a green park day and a yellow park day. If Wednesday and Thursday both have an overall crowd level of 8, is it better to go to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday when it's a green park or on Thursday when it's yellow but has the extra magic hour?

Hi Angel,

If the daily crowd level is the same, it is better to go to the green park than the yellow. Extra Magic Hours definitely increase crowd levels for that park for that day (not just the actual morning or evening Extra Magic Hours).
