Inside This Post

If you're cruisin' down the bayou (or ya know, across the ocean), don't miss your chance to leap into the jazz-filled wonder of Tiana's Place, one of the ribbiting Rotational Dining restaurants aboard the Disney Wonder! Inspired by Princess Tiana's New Orleans roots and her famous dream of owning a restaurant, this dining venue dishes up Southern-style flavor and frogilicious fun. With live music, colorful decor and a menu full of Cajun-Creole favorites, it's a hoppin' good time from start to finish.

Disney Cruise Line Tiana's Place Overview

Tiana’s Place is one of three main dining venues included in Disney Cruise Line’s Rotational Dining experience on the Disney Wonder. That means you’ll visit this jazzy spot at least once during your sailing and your servers will travel with you throughout the cruise to each location, providing consistent and personalized service.

On the Disney Wonder, the other two Rotational Dining restaurants include Animator's Palate and Triton's.

Located on Deck 3, Tiana's Place brings something a little different to the table, Southern hospitality, a toe-tappin' house band and flavors that'll make you shout "laissez les bon temps rouler!"

The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is your go-to for checking your dining rotation, table number, menu previews and more. It’ll also ribbit you updates for entertainment, shows and special events happening right around your meal.

Theme and Entertainment at Tiana's Place

Tiana's Place isn't just a restaurant, it's a party and the whole family is invited! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with Mardi Gras magic: golden fleur-de-lis, purple and green decor, bead-inspired chandeliers and art straight out of Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" set the stage for a memorable evening of food and fun.

Live jazz music fills the air thanks to the rollicking house band, the Crawfish Crooners (who might just invite you to sing along or dance in your seat). Later in the cruise, Tiana may even make an appearance and she often brings Louis the trumpet-playing gator along for the fun.

On some nights, there's even a festive Mardi Gras Parade around the dining room, complete with beads, dancing and plenty of energy.

French Quarter Lounge

Just when you thought things couldn't get more jazzy, hop over next door to the French Quarter Lounge for even more bayou-style fun! Located just steps away from Tiana’s Place on Deck 3, the French Quarter Lounge keeps the New Orleans vibe rollin’. Designed to resemble the streets of the French Quarter, the lounge features wrought iron details, jazz-themed murals, Mardi Gras beads and even a vintage-style streetcar photo op.

The lounge is a relaxed space for the whole family to enjoy. There’s live jazz music, plus sing-alongs, games and trivia nights. Grown-ups can sip on New Orleans-inspired cocktails like hurricanes and mint juleps, while kids can enjoy mocktails. Cozy seating makes it a great place to hang out before or after dinner. You might even catch a character appearance or a surprise activity during themed nights.

Disney Cruise Line Tiana's Place Menu

Tiana’s Place features the Mardi Gras Menu on every Disney Wonder cruise. If you're sailing for seven nights or longer, you'll also get to try the Prince & Princess Menu. On Alaska sailings, guests are treated to a special regional menu with extra options with local ingredients. Just note that menus can vary from cruise to cruise depending on the itinerary, available ingredients and other factors, so each dining experience might be a little different.

Dietary Needs and Special Requests

Disney Cruise Line is committed to ensuring that all guests have a magical experience. Extending into the dining room, the crew members want to know what they can do to make sure you are comfortable and accommodated.

Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free or have other food allergies or sensitivities, the dining team will be able to accommodate your needs. The DCL servers and chefs are trained to work with guests to serve safe and satisfying meals tailored to individual needs. Just notify the crew ahead of your cruise and chat with your server once onboard.

Guests should note any dietary restrictions at the time of booking their cruise. Then complete a Special Services Request Form at least 60 days before your cruise to allow the chefs to prepare. This form allows the cruise staff to understand your needs in advance, allowing you to note any dietary allergies, religious dietary preferences or medically restricted diets.

Forms and more information can be found on Disney Cruise Line’s Special Dietary Requests page.

Sensory-Friendly Accommodations

Tiana’s Place tends to be one of the more loud and energetic dining venues onboard, especially during the Mardi Gras celebration. If someone in your group has sensory sensitivities, consider speaking with Guest Services or your server in advance to find the most comfortable dining arrangements.
