Anticipating and planning for a trip to Disney World or Disneyland is part of the whole excitement. And saving can be a fun part of the process. Since every penny counts when you're headed to Disney, this cute little Disney savings jar will help the whole family start saving money and get ready for those souvenirs! My son and husband are actually going to Disneyland in a few weeks and my 5-year-old is so excited to use his new jar.
You'll need:
A clean empty jar and lid
Clay (bake or air dry kind)
Toothpick
E6000 glue (comes in a silver tube, can be found at most craft stores in their adhesive section)
Spray paint
Stickers or vinyl lettering
Shape the clay into 2 small balls and 1 larger one. Flatten the two smaller ones slightly.
Clay Mickey Head by Crafting in the Rain for Undercover Tourist
Cut small pieces of the toothpick, poke into the head and ears and apply a tiny amount of glue and attach them. Air dry or bake according to clay instructions.
Glue head to lid and spray paint when dry. I used two coats of metallic gold.
Apply stickers to spell Mickey Money (or Disney Dollars :) or cut out your own vinyl.
Then watch those dollars add up!
So I want to know, who is currently saving for a Disney trip?
