Universal Epic Universe, the thrilling new theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, is home to five frogtastic worlds of wonder. With 11 awesome rides to experience, there's truly something for the whole family. That being said, due to safety precautions, not every frog in your family may be able to experience each attraction. Being aware of height requirements beforehand is the best way to minimize any in-park temper tantrums and to temper expectations for your little tadpoles. If you're planning to hop through Chronos in the near (or far) future, here's everything you need to know about Epic Universe height requirements.

Overview of Epic Universe Height Requirements
With four coasters, three dark rides, two flat rides, one omnimover and one interactive boat battle (not to mention two play areas and two live stage shows), the attractions at Universal Epic Universe aren't lacking in variety. However, to experience the majority of the rides at this park, your tadpole is going to have to be at least 40 inches or taller. There's a very helpful sign at the park entrance (before security) you can use to measure your tadpole for each ride, but be aware that a Universal team member may also request they be measured at the rides themselves, just to double check.
Additionally, any tadpole that meets the minimum height requirement of an attraction but doesn't meet the 48-inch, ride-alone height requirement must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion — someone who is 14 years of age or older and meets all other attraction ridership requirements. Tadpoles under 48 inches must be able to sit upright unassisted on all rides.

Child Swap at Universal Epic Universe
Have a tadpole that's too young or too scared to get on your favorite attraction? Don't fret! Utilize the park's Child Swap program, which allows one member of your party to wait in a designated area along with any tadpole who is unable or unwilling to participate. Once the rest of your group is off the ride, trade places and take your seat on the ride while those who rode previously wait with the tadpole(s). For more information or instructions, feel free to ask a ride attendant upon arrival at the theme park.
