Overview
Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Hollywood on select nights from Sept. 4 through Nov. 2, 2025, with eight haunted houses, scare zones and the Terror Tram. A haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights is like stepping straight into your worst nightmare, only way more detailed. You’ll walk through dark, immersive sets filled with eerie sound effects, smells and movie-quality props. Not to mention scare actors who pop out when you least expect it. It’s intense, theatrical and designed to keep your heart racing from start to finish. Let's take a look at the Halloween Horror Nights houses you will encounter in 2025.
Fallout
The Fallout universe began as a video game series back in 1997 and has since become one of the most iconic post-apocalyptic franchises of all time. The story is set in an alternate future where 1950s-style optimism collided with global nuclear war. The world of Fallout is full of crumbling cities, deadly mutants, raider gangs and underground survival shelters known as Vaults. The games throw players into this harsh wasteland before pushing them out into a brutal and morally gray world where every decision counts.
In 2024, the franchise exploded onto screens with the Prime Video series "Fallout," introducing a whole new audience to the universe. The show follows Lucy, a hopeful and slightly naive Vault Dweller, as she ventures to the surface in search of her father. Along the way, she crosses paths with Maximus, a soldier from the militarized Brotherhood of Steel, and a gunslinging bounty hunter known only as The Ghoul. The series blends the games’ signature mix of vintage Americana, horror and campy satire.
This year’s haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood drops you right into that twisted world. You'll start in Vault 33 and plunge deep into chaos. Expect to come face-to-face with radroaches, ghouls, violent raiders and those menacing Brotherhood of Steel soldiers in their hulking power armor. The setting is gritty and eerily immersive, complete with malfunctioning vault tech, flickering terminals and a twisted version of Americana. Designed to make you feel like you’re surviving the wasteland yourself, this house is pure chaos in the best post-apocalyptic way. A must-do for Fallout fans.
The T-60 armor is set to be one of the biggest works put together for Halloween Horror Nights. And although the house will be featured on both coasts, the Power Armor will be a full animatronic in Hollywood, and an entire battle moment in Orlando.
Jason Universe
He’s back… and this time, it’s not just one timeline. Jason Universe slashes its way into Halloween Horror Nights 2025 with a blood-soaked house that stitches together decades of "Friday the 13th" carnage. It all began with the 1980 horror classic "Friday the 13th," which introduced a silent, relentless killer who would go on to become one of horror’s most legendary slashers: Jason Voorhees. Over the years, Jason has haunted cabins, cruised through cities and even terrorized victims in outer space. Jason has an infamous kill count across more than a dozen films. His story has been rebooted and twisted together so many times. It was inevitable the timelines eventually collided. And that’s exactly what this house is all about.
The Jason Universe house isn’t just one movie come to life. It’s a blood-soaked mashup of all the different versions of Jason, pulled straight from the darkest corners of the franchise. One minute you're dodging a classic 1980s slasher. The next you're face-to-mask with an undead juggernaut wielding a machete the size of your spine. It's like the multiverse cracked open... and only Jason came crawling out.
You'll start in the eerie ruins of Camp Crystal Lake. You'll wind through foggy woods, creaking cabins and even the Voorhees house itself. But don’t get too comfortable. This house warps reality, pulling you across multiple versions of Jason Voorhees and his legendary reign of terror. Expect iconic kills, jump scares from every corner and the heavy sound of a machete dragging along the walls. For fans of classic horror and Halloween carnage, this house is pure slasher candy. Whether you're a longtime fan or just like your horror classic and stabby, Jason Universe is here to make sure no camper escapes alive.
Terrifier
Step right up (to total carnage)! Art the Clown is crashing Halloween Horror Nights, and he’s bringing a whole new level of gore with him. Inspired by the wildly disturbing "Terrifier" film franchise, this house drops you into the blood-soaked chaos of Miles County, where Art stalks victims with a smile that’s anything but friendly. You’ll creep through his grotesque Funhouse (first seen in "Terrifier 2") filled with flickering lights, carnival nightmares and the aftermath of his most brutal kills.
This house is not for the faint of heart. You’ll relive iconic scenes from the films, come face-to-face with Vicky, the unnerving Little Pale Girl, and try to escape Art’s holiday horror show, complete with a twisted Christmas nightmare. From the carnage of the Clown Café to a revoltingly bathroom scene, every corner drips with dread. In the Terrifier house there are no rules. Just you, the claustrophobic corridors and Art’s gleeful grin waiting in the dark.
Monstruos 3
The Monstruos saga returns for its third and most haunting chapter yet. Because this time, it's all about the ghosts. Drawing from chilling Latin American legends, this house introduces you to La Llorona, La Muelona and La Siguanaba. One of the notoriously most terrifying houses of past Halloween Horror Nights was La Llorona (pictured above). And the past two iterations of Monstruos have been highlights in the events they've been featured in. All that to say, we have high hopes for this house!
La Llorona, the infamous Weeping Woman, is cursed to wander the earth searching for her drowned children. (She did it. She drowned them.) Her cries echo through moonlit graveyards and riverside ruins, luring you closer before she strikes. La Muelona is a fanged, bone-crunching spirit with flowing black hair and a monstrous jaw full of razor-sharp teeth. She punishes liars, cheaters and the morally corrupt with a smile that’ll haunt your dreams. And finally, beware La Siguanaba, a shapeshifting phantom who appears as a beautiful woman from afar... until you see her true form. With a horrifying, rotting horse skull for a face, she’ll lead the curious deep into the shadows, never to return.
Monstruos 3 blends deep cultural folklore with Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood's signature scream-worthy scares. Wander haunted village streets, cursed altars and ancient spirits that don’t rest easy. Weave through graveyards, foggy village roads and haunted homes filled with whispered warnings and supernatural dread. Enter if you dare...
