Seemingly an overnight success, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Halsey broke into the music scene after uploading her single "Ghost" to SoundCloud, which led to the song charting, hitting the radio and landed Halsey a label deal. Her debut EP landed her a No. 3 spot on the Top Heatseekers chart, fueling anticipation for her debut studio album, Badlands, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Her emotive blend of pop, electronic and alternative rock songs mixed with her distinctive voice and personal lyrics about her struggles with mental health and relationships continue to top the charts. Known for her hit single collaborations with artists such as The Chainsmokers for "Closer" and Benny Blanco and Khalid for "Eastside," Halsey’s third studio album became her best-selling album.
