Frogciting news, Potterheads! HBO Max — now called Max — has officially given the green light to an all-new streaming TV series adaptation of the "Harry Potter" book series, featuring an entirely new cast. Each season of the show will be based on each book, with Warner Bros. Discovery describing it as a "decade-long series." This will allow a much deeper dive into the details from each book, which is what we frogs are most excited about! We can't wait to finally see Peeves, Hermione's Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (S.P.E.W.) and so much more, come to life on screen.
That's all we know for now, as an exact timeline was not given at this time. Warner Bros. Discovery also stated that this new series will not preclude them from developing other projects within the Wizarding World (though nothing else has been confirmed for now).
