All About Melanie Martinez and The Trilogy Tour
Upon wowing judges and fans on the third season of "The Voice," Melanie Martinez began working independently on original material. Her debut single, "Dollhouse," dropped in 2014 and she was subsequently signed to Atlantic Records where she released her debut EP. Their single off the EP, "Carousel," reached number nine on the Alternative Digital Song chart and was certified gold by the RIAA. A year later, Martinez released her debut album, "Cry Baby," which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200.
Since then, they've been nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Soundtrack and an MTV Video Music Award for Best Visual Effects and won a Vietnam TikTok Award for Best International Song and a Dabeme Music Award for Best Artist of 2014. Her first all-arena tour, "The Trilogy Tour" will feature songs from "Cry Baby," "K-12," (which debuted at number three on Billboard 200) and "Portals" (which included two singles that nabbed Martinez her first original appearances on the Billboard Hot 100).
