Disney Parks has officially announced the return of two beloved Disneyland After Dark events in 2023: Disneyland After Dark: Throwback Nite and Disneyland after Dark: Star Wars Nite. At these events, guests can enjoy unique, themed experiences, merch and more after the park's regular operating hours.
On select nights in April and May, these spring events will begin with a three-hour pre-party mix at Disneyland Park with regular admission crowds from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. However, the real party continues until 1 a.m. for Disneyland After Dark ticketholders! Tickets for these events can be purchased via the Disneyland website starting Feb. 23, 2023 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT). Magic Key holders may purchase these tickets starting Feb. 21, 2023 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT).
Disneyland After Dark: Throwback Nite (April 18 & 20, 2023)
Calling all Dapper Day fans! This specific Nite will take place in Disneyland Park, and is inspired by the debonair days of the 1950s and '60s. Brimming with retro outfits, live music, nostalgic characters and one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, Throwback Nites are sure to attract all the cool cats! A special nighttime spectacular, “Fantasy in the Sky,” will also be featured as a nod to the first fireworks display at Disneyland Park in 1957.
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite (May 2, 4, 8 & 11, 2023)
In May, the Force will awaken at Disneyland Park with the return of Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite! A popular Disneyland After Dark event in previous years, this year's event will be a fantastic galactic celebration. For four select nights, Disneyland Park will become a galaxy far far away, providing out-of-this-world experiences, such as encounters with Tusken Raiders, Jawas, the First Order and the Resistance! Guests can also enjoy themed snacks, merch and interactive activities, including a lightsaber instructional demonstration.
