What You Need to Know About Nate Bargatze's "The Be Funny" Tour

Nate Bargatze is a Grammy-nominated stand-up comedian from Nashville, TN. Dubbed "The Nicest Man in Stand-Up" by The Atlantic, Bargatze performs clean and relatable humor. He has created numerous Netflix specials. You can also find them on Amazon Prime Video. Nate Bargatze is currently touring and selling out shows with his new “The Be Funny” Tour.

Nate has appeared more than 10 times on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He has also performed for the troops in Kuwait and Iraq, with Chris Rock, and at comedy festivals. In fact, he's won New York's Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival.

"The Be Funny" tour has all-new material. It kicked off in January 2023 and runs through September 2024. We saw the show and never stopped smiling or laughing the whole time.

Opening Acts

Nate Bargatze has about four other comedians who tour with him. When we caught Nate Bargatze in Anaheim, Calif., at a sold-out Honda Center arena, here's who opened for him:

  • Julian McCullough (He did some of his own act and introduced each of the other comedians and Nate Bargatze.)
  • Nic Novicki
  • Joe Zimmerman
  • Mick Vecchione

All of them were hilarious and family friendly. Each performed a short set. They all came on stage at the end, where they received a standing ovation.

Saw Nate in Dayton on May 14.

He was. GREAT!!

Also loved the opening comics. Could anyone tell me the names of the comics who went on before Nate? Specifically the 3rd (last) guest?

FYI the Huntington Center, when he's performing June 15, that is in Toledo, OH, not Sandusky.

We saw Nate in Corpus Christi last night and the show started 30 minutes late, presumably because the arena didn't open the doors until 30 minutes before the show was set to start and there were still a steady stream of people getting seated. Nate went on about an hour after the show started, but all of the acts were hilarious and worth the cost of the tickets.
