Hi there! Welcome to our weekly roundup of the most interesting theme park news around the Walt Disney World Resort, the Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and other theme parks.
Here Are This Week’s Theme Park Highlights:
- Tadpole alert! A new Disney Junior Dance Party is hopping into Disney's Hollywood Studios this fall. Timon, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina and Mickey Mouse (of the Roadster Racers!) will all be in attendance. What better way to entertain little ones than dancing along with their faves?
- Cue the tears! Universal Studios Hollywood brought us our rom-com of the week with a couple who got engaged after breaking the record for most rides on Jurassic Park - The Ride in one day. They rode the attraction 62 times for 13 hours, and Universal Studios even donated a prop for the proposal!
- In honor of Mickey Mouse's upcoming 90th birthday, limited-time celebrations are coming to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, as well as the international parks. "The World's Biggest Mouse Party" is all part of the fun, so consider us intrigued! We can't wait to celebrate our fave mouse.
- The last of the Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses have been announced for Universal Orlando Resort. We can't get over the killer lineup ... check it out and discover what attractions will be open during the event in our Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights Survival Guide.
- OMG — SeaWorld announced that Rudolph & Friends will continue to be a part of the Christmas celebrations at their theme parks through the 2023 season. Visiting Rudolph is our favorite thing to do when visiting SeaWorld during the holidays, and we can't wait to see our red-nosed reindeer pal again soon.
That’s it for the theme park news this week! Have a great weekend.
Hoppy planning!
