Niall Horan rose to fame upon the formation of One Direction on the reality singing competition, "The X-Factor." Topping charts and breaking hearts since 2011, 1D became one of the best-selling boy groups of all time with hit singles, such as "What Makes You Beautiful," "Live While We're Young" and "Story of My Life." Following the release of their fifth album in November 2015, the group went on an indefinite hiatus and by May 2017, all members had released solo singles.
Upon splitting, Horan signed with Capitol Records as a solo artist and released his debut single, "This Town," in 2016. It peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. As a solo artist, he's won one American Music Award, two iHeartRadio Music Awards and six BMI London Awards, among many others. In 2023, his third studio album, "The Show," debuted at number one in eight countries, including the Irish and UK album charts, and number two in the United States. Horan wants his fans to know that his upcoming world tour — in which he'll be playing songs from all three of his studio albums — will be “...a place of pure joy and somewhere you can come to escape and let loose.
