Though rare, severe weather can occasionally cause operational closures for the SoCal theme parks. Due to the wildfires currently in the Los Angeles area, some theme parks have announced operational adjustments. We will continue to update as we learn more from each of the parks.
Disneyland Resort Updates

- Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk will be closed Jan. 8 and 9, 2025, as a result of the extreme winds and fire conditions.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Updates
- The park will be closed Jan. 8, 2025, due to inclement weather. Tickets purchased for today will be valid any one operating day through Dec. 31, 2025.

SeaWorld San Diego Updates
- At this time, no closures have been announced.

Other SoCal Attraction Updates
- Due to strong winds and fire conditions, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will be closed Jan. 8 and 9, 2025.
- Due to winds and wildfires, Big Bus LA operations will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.
- Madame Tussauds Hollywood and the Hollywood Rooftop is closed Jan. 9, 2025, and will remain closed until it's safe to reopen.
