What You Need to Know About the Slash Tour and S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival
First of all, what is the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival? We've got a double entendre here. Besides being a snake lover, Slash made his festival name an anagram that stands for Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance. The Slash tour follows the release of Slash's sixth solo album "Orgy of the Damned." For all festival dates, Slash performs alongside his blues band, which features bassist Johnny Griparic, keyboardist Teddy ‘ZigZag’ Andreadis, drummer Michael Jerome and singer/guitarist Tash Neal.
Slash is again a member of Guns N' Roses, which toured globally in 2023. He's considered to be one of the greatest guitarists in history — he owns 100+ guitars — and he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not only that, but he also regularly composes music for scare zones and haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood!
Setlist
Do not come to this show expecting Guns N' Roses songs. The setlist may vary. Expect a lot of covers and songs from the new album. Here are some songs from a setlist in May 2024, featuring Slash and blues bandmates Tash Neal and Teddy Andreadis:
