Our Favorite Table Service Restaurants at Universal CityWalk Orlando
Best for Families: Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is a great choice for families, located right across from the AMC Theater at the entrance to CityWalk. After a long day of vacation, Bubba Gump’s can satisfy any appetite. Serving up Southern favorites like fried shrimp, Dixie style ribs, and Mama’s bread pudding along with “Jenny’s Catch” lighter options, every member of the family will be sure to find something tasty. The diverse kids menu gives little ones a choice of more than just burgers or chicken fingers, along with a dessert option just for them, the Build Your Own Sundae Bar.
Best for Groups: Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food
The sounds of the mariachi band and vibrant colors of the building welcome diners to an evening full of upbeat music, delicious food, and delightful drinks at Antojitos. This restaurant is great for groups looking to try something new, satisfying vegetarian fare, and sizzling classics. Everything at Antojitos is fresh, like the guacamole made tableside. Modern music is given a south of the border twist on the center stage, and the bar is fully stocked with imported beers and tequilas to liven up the party.
Best Casual Night Out: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville
Bring that beach vibe to dinner at this renowned Island-style eatery where flip-flops and board shorts are welcome. The expansive menu features Florida favorites from burgers and tacos to pasta, steak and seafood. The famous margaritas get their own section of the menu with something to complement any dish. These were the same margaritas worthy of risking a pteranodon attack in "Jurassic World" after all. Whether it’s the cool Watermelon Margarita, unique Blackberry Moonshine Margarita or the classic 5 O’Clock Somewhere, these icy concoctions will have you coming back for more. For a limited time, menu items from Margaritaville Isla Nublar, featured in Jurassic World, can be found here in Orlando! With live music, three bars and a beach party atmosphere, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is a casual place to relax and enjoy your vacation.
Best for Date Night: Emeril’s Restaurant Orlando
Kick date night up a notch at Emeril’s with a sophisticated Creole-gourmet menu and the highest quality service. We love sitting on the porch next to the wood-framed windows watching the sun set over the water. Must-try dishes include Emeril’s New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp, Braised Creekstone Farms Beef Short Rib and Emeril’s Banana Cream Pie. The restaurant also features a 12,000 bottle wine gallery and a cigar bar. Through December 30, 2015, Emeril’s Orlando is offering a special deal. Present your Universal Orlando Resort park ticket and get a free appetizer or dessert!
Best for Those That Eat Dessert First: Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen
Chocolate flavored beer, Chocolate flavored bread. What else is there to say? This steampunk-inspired emporium is deliciously dedicated to chocolate. The domain of Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome and her robot, Jaques, serves up tasty dishes for adults and kids. Southern Fried Chicken BLT, Vegetable Press and the May Contain Bacon Burger will delight adults, while kids can have selections such as chicken fingers and Marinara Garganelli. But, let's be real, the milkshakes are the real main course. It's SO HARD to choose from the 13 different offerings. Bacon Brittle? Chocolate X5? Key Lime Pie? The good news is that there is no bad decision. Even the non-milkshake offerings—sundaes, chocolate cream pie—are delicious.
Best “Something for Everyone” Restaurant: The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar
Seamlessly fusing two niche favorites, burgers and sushi, on the same menu makes The Cowfish a unique restaurant with something for everyone. Add hand-spun milkshakes, and what more could you want? The Cowfish offers classic and specialty rolls alongside decadent burgers, but the real innovation lies in the “burgushi” rolls and bento boxes. Fusion rolls like Doug’s Filet Roll pair filet mignon with traditional sushi ingredients, while the bento boxes offer a taste of everything with half a roll of sushi, mini-burger, sweet potato fries, spicy Thai cucumbers and salted edamame. Options are everywhere, and the Cowfish servers are happy to accommodate. You can choose between beer, sake or specialty cocktails. You can sit inside, at the bar or on the patio. You can design your own virtual fish to add to the digital fish tank that serves as the restaurant’s centerpiece. It's really up to you! The Cowfish gives diners the freedom to create their own unique dining experience as a family, couple, or group of friends.
