"Purgatory" not only captured his roots-infused, straightforward style but also soared to the pinnacle of Billboard's chart and claimed a spot in the Top 20 on the country music charts. Notably, his exceptional contributions led to him being honored with the Emerging Artist of the Year award at the 2018 Americana Awards.
