Bring Home the Magic with Unique & Personalized Souvenirs from Disneyland

I remember visiting Disney as a tadpole and bringing home personalized Disneyland and Disney World souvenirs with my name on them. I wore my personalized leather bracelet from Disneyland with pride and had a hand-painted fan with my name in Chinese calligraphy from the China pavilion at EPCOT hanging on my bedroom wall for years.

There is something magical about having something unique and made just for you. We all love the Mickey T-shirts, autograph books and bubble wands at Disneyland. But there are several unique souvenirs you can get to commemorate your trip, decorate your home and even capture your tadpoles at the ages of your visit. Here's where to find personalized Disneyland souvenirs.

Where to Find Unique Souvenirs at Disneyland (and Personalized Gifts)

Here are several ideas for unique souvenirs from Disneyland to help you bring home the magic or share it as a special gift.

Silhouettes

You can have your child or loved ones sit for their silhouette at the Silhouette Studio on Main Street U.S.A. (and at select times at Disneyana). A silhouette artist cuts it by hand by simply looking at the person. You can even have them do it by showing a photo of your loved ones or pets!

Personalized Ears and Ornaments

At the end of Main Street U.S.A., you'll see Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe. This year-round ornament shop offers hand-painted personalization services for gifts and ornaments. You can personalize ornaments, select ears and items purchased that day with a receipt. This is a popular thing to do, so we recommend hopping in early in the day to get your order going before the line backs up. We've seen an eight-hour wait to get the finished items back.

Embroidered Hats/Mickey Ears

This is an OG oldie but goodie. Who doesn't remember their first pair of Mickey ears? At The Mad Hatter in Town Square, Pioneer Mercantile at Disneyland, EngineEAR Souvenirs in Toontown or Kingswell Shop in Disney California Adventure, you can have select hats and ears embroidered with your name.

Create Your Own Tiaras or Glassware

This is one of the newest unique souvenirs at Disneyland. Head to Cristal d'Orleans in New Orleans Square, where you can pick the design and jewels for your very own customized tiara. This shop also does customized glass etching for cups, pitchers, photo frames and gifts. (Crystal Arts on Main Street U.S.A. also personalizes with glass etching.)

You can also make your own magic wand (and other items) and fill it with crystals, or personalize a pen and fill it with crystals.

Build Your Own Droid or Lightsaber in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

You can create your own droid or lightsaber in the park. You'll choose your style and individual pieces to build these items to your preferences. Plus, you get a memorable experience while creating it.

Art

You can buy unique Disneyland art from Disneyana in Disneyland or Off the Page in Disney California Adventure. Keep an eye out for artist events and signings. They pop up for events, holidays or Disneyland special events (such as Black History Month).

In Disneyana, there is a machine for selecting a print, sizing it and creating your own frame and then having it delivered to your house!

At times, you can get a one-of-a-kind, framed and personalized name sculpture by Dave Avanzino. (He returns to Disneyana Nov. 6-9, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

In Downtown Disney, sketch artists can create one-of-a-kind, animation-style sketches right before your eyes at WonderGround Gallery.

At Disneyland Park, find sketch artists in the back of Disneyana.

You can also catch sketch artists in action, creating hand-drawn, animation-style sketches, at Knick's Knacks or Off the Page at Disney California Adventure. At Off the Page, choose your favorite characters to be recreated in a one-of-a-kind piece of art you can purchase and take home.

Create Your Own Art

You can also create your own FREE art at the Animation Academy in the Animation Building at Disney California Adventure. Some people bring their own sketchbooks to more easily keep and protect their creations. But if your art is like mine and not so souvenir quality, you can get art from a professional at Off the Page as you exit the building.

Jewelry, Watches and Perfume

Embarcadero Gifts at Disney California Adventure and La Mascarade d'Orleans in Disneyland have hand-finished and contemporary pieces. Plus, keep an eye out for calligraphy events hosted at Embarcadero Gifts or La Mascarade d'Orleans throughout the year.

From time to time, you can score rare, limited Disney items from Crislu and other jewelry trunk shows, especially during select nights of After Dark events. Same for Citizen Disney watches. You can usually find them near the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. and Crystal Arcade, but lines can get long for these events. Hop in place early for the best selection.

While jewelry shops in Disneyland parks also offer Pandora, there is a Pandora store in Downtown Disney with one-of-a-kind charm bracelets and coordinating jewelry.

You might not think of perfume shopping as part of your Disneyland day, but if you pop into the Mlle. Antoinette’s Parfumerie shop (in New Orleans Square), you might leave with a new signature scent! From time to time, an artist pops in to hand-paint the perfume bottles, and if your favorite scent hoppens to be painted, you get the decorated bottle for no extra charge.

Personalized Leather Bracelets and Engraved Tags

In front of Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland, you can engrave leather bracelets and more.

Near the Disneyland lockers, you can create your own engraved tags.

Personalized Driver's License

When you exit Autopia, you can get a personalized driver's license at the booths on the exit ramp.

Caricature and Letter Art

Hop by New Orleans Square or Pixar Pier to have your caricatures drawn, Disney-style.

In Downtown Disney, Kaman's Art Shoppes, Inc. Letter Brush Art does caricatures as well as personalized brush letter art for your name or a word of your choice. They offer a range of fairy-tale themes, and matting and framing options.

You can also find letter art inside Disneyland near the exit to Pixie Hollow.

DIY Character Signature Ideas

You don't have to spend a lot of money or buy something in the park to have a personalized and unique Disneyland souvenir. Instead of collecting character signatures in an autograph book, have them sign something else instead. We have seen them sign shoes, hats, shirts, photo mats, ornaments, photo frames and more. One time, we let the tadpoles paint their own lightweight, glassless photo frames (from the craft store). We carried the frames around Disneyland to have the characters sign them. (Do not bring glass into the park.) Then we took photos with the characters and displayed them at home. We have a blog post on creating your own picture frame souvenirs!
