For an awe-inspiring experience hop aboard whale-watching ships custom-built for just such an adventure and spot whales off Newport Bay. In the summer and fall, be on the lookout for giant blue whales while gray whales spot the seas in the winter and spring. Humpback whales, minke whales and finback whales call these waters home year-round. You might also spot some other aquatic friends like dolphins and seals.

With the Davey's Locker Whale Watching: General Admission Ticket (WEEKDAYS ONLY), you’ll experience the following highlights:
  • 95% viewing success rate of marine protected areas created to protect this rich ecosystem.
  • View all kinds of whales including giant blue whales, gray whales, humpback whales, minke whales, and finback whales.
  • Over half a dozen different species of dolphin including the giant Risso dolphin over 12 feet in length, bottlenose dolphin, white-sided dolphin, common dolphin, and more.
