Keep in Mind
- There is a fee for parking, but the self-parking charge has been reduced for Undercover Tourist guests (from $25 to $10).
- The complimentary scheduled shuttle service has limited seating and requires reservations, so be sure to talk to the concierge to set that up upon arrival.
- Due to the size of the resort, some rooms can be far from the elevators. Plan in extra time for walking.
- Pets are recognized as part of the frog family! If you’d like to bring your dog along, remember a crate will be necessary to leave them unattended in the room.

- Early 1800s settlers logged cypress trees down the creek behind the hotel to a mill where they were fashioned into roof shingles. Thus, the settlers named it “Shingle Creek.” The nature trail that wraps around the back of the property is the perfect way to venture out in the natural setting that the settlers would have traversed.
