Universal Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Refurbishments
Mandara Spa at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will permanently close on November 30, 2024 as we explore future opportunities to enhance our guest experience. Guests looking for spa services in the area can consult the concierge or front desk at their Universal Orlando hotel for nearby providers.
The exterior of the hotel is under renovation. The work is estimated to be completed by March 15, 2025. During this time, scaffolding is in place in certain areas of the hotel. There may be intermittent noise and dust. Some walkways may be re-routed. Some guest rooms may have views blocked by scaffolding or sheeting over the windows. All of the hotel’s services, shops, restaurants and bars are available. The hotel’s swimming pools will remain open throughout the hotel renovation. Scaffolding and intermittent noise will impact the pools when the renovation progresses to different areas. The hotel offers three swimming pools and only one pool will be impacted at any time.
