The former boy band — excuse me, the most successful boy band of all time — follows other legendary bands including U2, The Eagles and country star Kenny Chesney in rocking out this unique venue. All the Details About the Backstreet Boys' Residency
The Grammy-nominated Backstreet Boys is an American vocal harmony group that made it big in the 1990s with hit songs such as "I Want it That Way," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "As Long As You Love Me." They blend rock/pop and R&B sounds with some hip-hop and dance pop. The band is made up of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson.
The Backstreet Boys Sphere residency celebrates their "Millennium" album. It's a nostalgic trip back to the 1990s and the band's "Millennium" era inspired by their album and tour. On X, the band posted, "We’re heading 'Into The Millennium' once again! Relive your Backstreet Boys Y2K memories, but this time… LARGER THAN LIFE." This is not the band's first Las Vegas residency. In 2022, the band played four shows in Las Vegas to kick off the "DNA" world tour. The band put out their first Christmas album in 2022, "A Very Backstreet Christmas."
About The Sphere
The MSG Sphere at the Venetian Resort makes for an immersive show. It displays cutting-edge technology and is known as the world's largest spherical structure. The Sphere is a music and entertainment arena with 18,600 seats, nine levels, 23 suites and an awe-inspiring immersive video and audio experience.
One thing to know about MSG Sphere shows, especially in summer, is that it can feel chilly inside, especially compared to the desert heat outside. The temperature is set to the mid-70s but if you are dressed for 110, you might feel cold if you don't bring a sweater. It's steep in there, and you'll do a lot of walking to get to the Sphere so wear comfortable shoes.
Where to sit? Down near the stage is general admission. You'll be near the band but will have to look up to see the rest of the effects that go up high on the screen. The center of the 200 and 300 section is the sweet spot because those seats offer an easy view of the massive LED screen. The 200s put you closer to the band but some of the seats are under the overhang so they can't see the full screen.
Backstreet Boys Setlist
You can expect a throwback setlist with all the bangers that will take you back to Y2K. While the actual setlist may vary, you can likely count on hits such as the following and so much more:

What Time Do the Backstreet Boys Go on Stage?
Like most concerts at the MSG Sphere, the Backstreet Boys go on stage likely about 8 p.m. MSG Sphere residencies are a little different from other concerts since they don't usually have opening acts. Doors usually 60-90 minutes to showtime and the band goes on stage on time. Arrive early at this venue. It can get crowded getting in.
