Here's our list of the top Cedar Point rides you won't want to miss!
Our Top 10 Favorite Cedar Point Rides
1. Steel Vengeance
Our top spot goes to the epic Steel Vengeance! This revolutionary coaster debuted in 2018 as the world's first hyper-hybrid coaster, meaning it is built out of both wood and steel (transformed from the original Mean Streak coaster). Steel Vengeance in Frontier Town features a height of 205 feet, speeds up to 74 mph, inversions, twists and more in the 2-minute, 30-second ride. It set 10 world records when it opened and is the longest hybrid coaster in the world at 5,740 feet and has 30 seconds of airtime — the most airtime on any coaster in the world! Voted "Best New Ride" in 2018, avid thrill-seekers won't want to miss Steel Vengeance!
Note that you may not bring any large items (such as bags, hats and other loose articles) into the queue. You must place these items in a locker or with a non-rider before entering the line. You may bring small items such as phones, small wallets and keys into the queue, but those must be stowed once you get to the small lockers located in the queue. There are metal detectors so you can not bring anything onto the actual ride.
Height Requirement: 52 inches
2. Maverick
Another Frontier Town attraction takes a close second place with Maverick. This wild coaster provides twists, tunnels, corkscrews, exciting launches and plenty of airtime! Clocking in at 2 minutes, 30 seconds, Maverick features a height of 105 feet, speeds up to 70 mph, steep 95-degree drops and the first-ever Twisted Horseshow Roll, which is two 360-degree corkscrew rolls of opposite directions with a 180-degree banked curve in-between. Not only that, riders enter a dark tunnel only to then be launched 400 feet at 70 mph. Are you up for this wild ride?

3. Millennium Force
Reaching a grand total of 310 feet, Millennium Force looms as an iconic coaster on the Cedar Point skyline. When the ride first opened in 2000, it broke several records, including the tallest roller coaster and the first to top 300 feet! It entered the new Millennium in a big way as it helped create a whole new category — the giga-coaster. The 2-minute ride features speeds up to 93 mph and continues to be one of the world's top steel coasters!
Height Requirement: 48 inches (maximum 78 inches or 6.5 feet)
4. GateKeeper
Near the front park, you'll find GateKeeper, a thrilling coaster inspired by flying. Soar like a guarding golden griffon as it twists and dives through the air. GateKeeper has a height of 170 feet and speeds of up to 67 mph in the 2-minute ride. It includes a wing-over drop maneuver, a 180-degree rotation into a half loop that starts at 170 feet, making it the record-holder for the highest inversion! Flying frogs, here we come!
Height Requirement: 52 inches (maximum 78 inches or 6.5 feet)
5. Raptor
Raptor soars in as one of our top Cedar Point rides at number five. Just like a bird of prey, riders sweep and dive as their feet dangle in the air. Clocking in at 2 minutes and 15 seconds, Raptor reaches 57 mph and offers 3,790 feet of track, six inversions with a 100-foot vertical loop, two inverted corkscrews, zero gravity roll and the world's first cobra roll. 6. Magnum XL-200
Continuing the line of record-holders, Magnum XL-200 debuted in 1989 as the then-fastest and steepest complete-circuit coaster in the world, as well as the first hyper-coaster and first-ever coaster to top 200 feet. It's even a Guinness Book of World Records holder — talk about revolutionary! With 2 minutes and 45 seconds of ride time, a height of 205 feet and speeds up to 72 mph, Magnum is sure to thrill.

7. Valravn
Next up for Cedar Point rides is Valravn — the tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster in the nation! Valravn takes riders up 223 feet, dangles them on the edge and then drops them at a 90-degree angle! You'll definitely feel the airtime during the 2-minute, 20-second ride. Add in a 270-degree roll, multiple twists and inversions, speeds up to 75 mph and another dive from 131 feet, and you can see how Valravn won so many awards when it opened in 2016.

8. Corkscrew
While traveling through the midway, you can't miss the winding blue and white Corkscrew. An American classic after opening in 1976 inspired by the U.S. Bicentennial, this exciting coaster offers lots of twists and turns. Corkscrew was the first coaster in the world that featured three inversions and it continues to thrill riders to this day. Reaching a height of 145 feet, you'll be dropped at 60 mph before zooming into a 119-foot vertical loop. There are plenty of twists and dives on this thrilling ride. (Too bad there's no Team Green ...) Riders remain close during the 2-minute, 40-second ride featuring a steel track and wood structure, a height of 125 feet and speeds up to 60 mph.
