Best Foods at Cool KIDS' SUMMER
With so many fun and frogciting treats available during Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Walt Disney World, it’s hard to choose a singular favorite. But we did our best to find our top drinks and snacks that we highly recommend you get next time you’re there!
1. Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake
Starting this list off strong with the cutest (and creepy-crawliest) snack on this list: the Gawrsh! Worms Everywhere Cake from Grab 'n' Goof at Communicore Hall at EPCOT. This is a chocolate lover's dream — chocolate cake, pieces of cookies and cream, ooey-gooey chocolate ganache and gummy worms! It's a super fun treat the tadpoles (and tadpoles at heart) will love!
Grab it for just $4.49.
2. Fairy Bread Cake
"Bluey" fans, run, don't walk, to Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom to try the famous Fairy Bread Cake — vanilla birthday cake dipped in white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles with raspberry dipping sauce.
And for less than $6, it's the perfect way to cap your day at Animal Kingdom after dancing along with Bluey and Bingo at Bluey's Wild World!
3. Wocka Wocking Nachos
Talk about a snack that is Fozzie Bear-approved! FØØD by Swedish Chef is one of the newest snack kiosks at Hollywood Studios, right next to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. While we could rave about everything on this "The Muppets"-inspired menu, our fave is the Wocka Wocking Nachos! Corn chips are topped with queso blanco, tomatoes and guacamole. Best of all, they're in a bag, making them super easy to enjoy while you walk around!
Plus, they're less than $8 — talk about a cool deal!
4. Churro Drumstick
Actually, before we hop over to another park, let's stay at Hollywood Studios for another moment to give a shoutout to the Churro Drumstick at FØØD by Swedish Chef. You're gonna love this one — a classic churro tossed in mixed berry sugar and topped with sweet raspberry sauce and sprinkles.
It's also served with chocolate sauce for double sweetness! As Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem would say, ROCK ON! Available for $7.99.
5. Wackadoo Fruit Freeze
Pizzafari over at Animal Kingdom is serving the perfect treat for cooling off on a hot Florida day, and it's called the Wackadoo Fruit Freeze! This "Bluey"-inspired snack features frozen fruit punch and is topped with fruit salad, including grapes and melon.
Plus, it's less than $7!
6. Pretzel's Pretzels
You can't ever go wrong with a pretzel at Walt Disney World, and these Pretzel's Pretzels are definitely at the top of the list! What makes these soft mini pretzels so delicious is the blueberry-mustard sauce that comes with them (along with cheese, of course).
It's a sweet-and-savory combo that is a perfect accompaniment to the pretzel bites.
Find them at the Isle of Java in Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island for $15.99.
7. Zurg Overload Shake
You won't be a "nervous Rex" facing the new Zurg Overload Shake at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies in Magic Kingdom! This is a classic vanilla shake with cherry coating, marshmallow whipped cream and sprinkles. It's then topped with a piece of chocolate. It's the coolest shake in the galaxy for less than $10.
8. Goof Troop Mac Snack
Gwarsh, this is a good one — fried macaroni and cheese with marinara dipping sauce. It's the perfect midday snack to get you through to dinner for just $5.49!
9. S'morin' Across America Milkshake
EPCOT is in a celebratory mood, especially over at the Land Pavilion. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday (and the debut of Soarin' Across America), Sunshine Seasons is now offering the S'morin' Across America Milkshake — a tasty s'mores shake with toasted marshmallow, toasted graham cracker, a chocolate bar (and of course, a cute Soarin' hang glider).
It's the perfect cool-down on a hot summer day for $9.99!
9. Sweet and Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta
Lunch is served at Docking Bay 7 at Disney's Hollywood Studios! During Cool KIDS' SUMMER, the new sweet-and-spicy-puffer-pig pasta is ready to be added to your must-try list. Not only is this a decent-sized portion for lunch (or dinner), but it features delightful flat noodles, pork belly, bok choy, a hard-boiled egg and sweet-and-spicy sauce.
Available for $16.99
10. Bluey's Berry Lemonade
Head on over to Eight Spoon Café in Animal Kingdom to try Bluey’s Berry Lemonade. Not only is it perfect for the 'gram — the cute flower sprinkles on top are ADORABLE! — but it tastes great, too: Frozen lemonade with blackberry, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry. It's as sweet to drink as it is to look at.
Available for $6.79
