Disney has been throwing its biggest anniversary party yet in 2023, and you're going to want some party favors to go with it! The Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration takes place at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, featuring shiny Disney 100 Platinum Celebration collection merchandise in pastel pink, purple and gray on both coasts. We have seen everything from Mickey sippers, pins and mugs, to ornaments, spirit jerseys and ears, all doused in shiny platinum. We are blown away by the new collections that keep getting released! Some of this special merchandise is available right now at both Disneyland and Disney World (as well as select items online at ShopDisney)! Hop with us through our merch guide to the Disney 100, so you can write up a list of your must-have items.
The Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration officially kicked off Jan. 27, 2023, at Disneyland, and later in the year at Walt Disney World as Disneylands' celebration tapers off. However, you can get your flippers on some of the commemorative items now!
Our Merch Guide to the Disney 100 Celebration
Shimmery platinum and purples have popped up in Disneyland stores, offering both flashy and understated Disney 100 memorabilia, with new styles released throughout the year. With the Disney 100 collection, we're hoppy to say there truly is something for everyone. We've taken the liberty of listing the current prices for Disney 100 merchandise in the parks right now (as seen on ShopDisney or in the park) so you can budget for your next trip. Keep in mind that prices may vary and a few items are not marked with prices in store. Some items on ShopDisney may be listed as a pre-order, with more merchandise on the way. There are items for every budget, ranging from souvenirs for families to high-end collector's items. We've seen merch in the park that we have not seen on ShopDisney, but supply fluctuates all the time and is subject to change.
In addition to the Disney 100 items and Platinum collection, there are more collections rolling out in the parks and shopDisney throughout 2023:
- Disney 100 The Eras Collection (follow the link to view some items of this collection)
- Disney 100 Unified Characters Collection (it brings together characters from many areas of Disney history, including Star Wars and Marvel)
- Disney 100 Oswald Collection (hop to the bottom of this post)
- Disney 100 Decades Collection — Released the third Monday of each month (hop to the bottom of this post)
- Disney 100 x RSVLTS Collection — Button-down shirts with Disney characters.
- Disney 100 Platinum Celebration Finale Collection —Released in fall 2023, this black with purple and fireworks (and ears with lights) truly feels like a Disney finale.
Most items are available at Disneyland Resort and at Walt Disney World. More will be released as the celebration continues. Look for new items to be released on the third Monday of every month.
Pins
We want all the pins! However, we noticed that they are not all sold at the same places, so if you want multiple pins, you'll need to hunt them down across the parks. These fit nicely into luggage when preparing to travel home, so they make a meaningful and practical keepsake.
Here are the Disney 100 pins we know of so far (keep hopping back for updates):
- Donald and Daisy Duck pin ($14.99), available at Westward Ho Trading Co. at Disneyland
- Limited-edition white and platinum Goofy and Pluto pin for ($17.99)
- Limited-edition Tinker Bell Cinderella Castle pin ($19.99) (only 3,000 available!)
- Mickey and Minnie pin for ($14.99), available at Oswald's in Disney California Adventure
- Chip 'n' Dale pin for ($17.99), available at Westward Ho Trading Co. at Disneyland
Where better to display your pins than a Disney 100 lanyard ($17.99)? We spotted one at Seaside Souvenirs.
Hats and Ear Headbands
I have already added some dazzling ears to my growing ear collection. Nothing gets me more ready to celebrate at Disney than getting my ears on. Insider tip: wear mouse ears to distract people from your messy roller coaster hair after getting off a ride! The platinum ear headband ($39.99) presents a light purple bow with a Disney 100 medallion in the center. That's toadally my style. There are also Mickey and Minnie Mouse hats in purple, boasting shiny, platinum ears on the sides ($29.99). Those are available right now at Disneyland Resort. There is also a Mickey Mouse and Friends platinum Loungefly headband for $44.99.
The other ear style is a limited-release, painted velvet black with silver drip marks. This pair is accompanied by the Minnie ear headband ($175) and Mickey ear hat. They each come in a commemorative box, which has reflective effects and a stylish base. They sold out quickly. You can find a gray, Disney 100 baseball cap ($24.99) in the shops as well. There's a newer platinum D100 Loungefly ear headband for $44.99.
Clothing
Mickey, Minnie and pals get new shimmering outfits for the celebration, and you can too!
- Purple Mickey Mouse and Friends Disney 100 purple sweatshirt for kids ($39.99)
- Purple Mickey Mouse and Friends Disney 100 purple sweatpants for kids ($34.99)
- Hoodie with embroidered designs for adults in purple ($64.99)
- Purple jogger pants for adults ($49.99)
- Spirit Jersey for both Disneyland and Disney World ($39.99) (for kids, adults and pets) — each features patterns of Mickey and pals, metallic fireworks and glittery logos.
- Black T-shirt with a printed design of the Sensational Six in platinum outfits ($29.99)
- Black jacket with a printed design of the Sensational Six in their platinum outfits ($69.99) — This lined windbreaker is a hot item that sells out quickly. The pockets have zippers, which are spectacular for securing items on rides.
- Women's zip-up hoodie with embroidered design, in black ($69.99)
- Steamboat Willie silk tie ($64)
- Infant clothing ($24.99)
- Kid's cropped sweatshirt ($39.99)
- Kid's gray long-sleeve T-shirt ($29.99)
- Crocs ($64.99)
- Various short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirts (in purple, gray and black)
Select items bought at Walt Disney World may have the Walt Disney World logo on them. Items from Disneyland may have the Disneyland logo on them.
We found that the purple hoodie is unisex, so it tends to be oversized for women. I like a roomy hoodie, so I went with my normal size. The black jacket is also unisex and I picked out my normal size, which is also roomy enough to wear that hoodie under it. So if you are buying them as a gift or without trying them on, keep that in mind. You could go down a size for women if you like a snug fit.
Bags (on ShopDisney and coming soon to parks)
From the Minnie Mouse Disney 100 Loungefly Mini Backpack ($78) to designer bags to casual shopping bags, you can travel in style by shopping during Disney 100. One backpack is a holographic silver color, with a set of 3D Minnie ears and a bow. You can also get the Mickey Mouse and Friends platinum Loungefly mini backpack ($78).
The Mickey Mouse and Friends Dooney & Bourke tote bag ($298), satchel bag ($298) and cross-body bag ($228) are some chic high-end options.
Souvenirs and Ornaments
We always love to pick up an ornament in the parks to commemorate our visits and special events. The Mickey Mouse Disney 100 Ear Hat Ornament ($26.99) is dripping with platinum. If you don't have a tree to hang it on, it would also look nice sitting on a shelf year-round. A Chip 'n' Dale 100 ornament ($24.99) and a Tinker Bell ornament ($24.99) are also sold at Disney stores. A snow globe with a figurine of Sleeping Beauty Castle ($39.99) is another seasonal item to commemorate your visit. There is a set of five sculpted Disney character ornaments ($49.99). We've spotted all of these at Disneyland.
You can purchase a Mickey or Minnie Mouse plush, or a Pluto plush and Chip 'n' Dale combined plush ($29.99 each). The Mouse doll and accessory set ($39.99) is just one of the many toys available.
Keep an eye out for more new toys and games in the shops as we approach the Disney 100! We love the posable plastic Mickey and Minnie, which are suitcase friendly. Special NuiMOs plushes, as well as the Disney 100 spirit jersey ($21.99) and backpack ($21.99), are all purchase-worthy pieces of merch.
Cozy up on movie night with your favorite Disney movie, a throw blanket featuring Mickey, Goofy and Donald ($59.99) and a soft throw pillow ($44.99). We also love bringing home other useful items that keep the magic going, such as a Disney 100 water bottle ($19.99), mug ($24.99), beach towel, magnet or photo frame. Display a picture from your trip in the souvenir picture frame ($34) from Disneyland! We also caught a glimpse of a keychain with eight Disney pals on it and a Mickey soap dispenser.
Some finer items include a Mickey Mouse Disney 100 sterling silver necklace ($195) and a Mickey Mouse deluxe celebration figure ($399).
The stores also sell a souvenir medallion book ($24.99) and a "National Geographic: 100 Disney Adventures of a Lifetime" hardcover book ($100).
Food Accessories and Food Items
Food accessories are high-demand items for just about every celebration at Disneyland Resort. Park guests love those popcorn buckets, sippers, glow cubes, straw clips and more. However, you can usually only purchase these goods inside the theme parks. At Disneyland, popcorn bucket lines weave around the park when merch is first released, only dying down as time passes. Sometimes items are available on mobile order, but sometimes not. It can really vary per day. Hop on the mobile order feature on the Disneyland app, at about 7 a.m. the day of your visit, to order sippers and other items for a later pick-up.
Speaking of food, there will be so many mouthwatering, themed treats for the Disney 100 celebration! Hop over to our Disney 100 foodie guide for more delicious details.
The platinum Mickey Mouse Starbucks tumbler is $39.99. There is a version for Disneyland and one for Disney World. To go along with your refreshing beverage, packaged snacks are already available for purchase in Disney stores. You can buy popcorn pails, chocolate bars, cotton candy, crispy treats and more.

Tips for Purchasing Disney 100 Merchandise
- You can mobile order Disney 100 must-have items and pick them up without even stepping foot in the store. Once on the property, use the Disneyland app to shop for the items available in stores. Tap the + sign and select "Shop in Store."
- Look for mobile order food items early in the morning and schedule a later pick-up at restaurants (along with special menu items for the celebration).
- Is the line at the register too long? You can also use the merchandise mobile checkout to scan and purchase your items in the Disneyland app or the My Disney Experience app at Disney World (in select shops)!
- Shop in-store and through the app to apply discounts. Discounts do not apply to ShopDisney purchases online.
- Save your receipts and store items you bought during your visit to the parks at certain Disneyland shops. You can also have them sent to your Disneyland Resort hotel gift shop for next-day pick-up. That way, you won’t have to carry them around the park.
- Disney's product stock fluctuates a lot, and the stores will often be low on many sizes for new specialty clothing merch. If you are debating on a piece of clothing, purchase it when you find your size. If you change your mind, you can return it to ANY Disney Parks store with the receipt. We've definitely had moments of regret when we thought we could buy something later and never could find the correct size again.
- When purchasing merch online, be aware of the park logo on each item (e.g. Disneyland or Disney World). You usually have to click on the description of an item to see the entire logo name. I don't know about you, but I feel silly wearing my Disneyland gear at Disney World and vice-versa.
- All items are limited release so they may fly off the shelves. If you really want a jacket or black T-shirt in your size, buy it right away because they sell out as soon as they are released.
- Ask a cast member if you are looking for a particular item or size. They might have more items and sizes in the back.
