Hip, hop, hooray — Disney World's 50th anniversary celebration is over halfway through but the party just keeps getting better and better! There's so much speciality merchandise to commemorate the occasion. Clothing, pins, MagicBands, mugs, ornaments ... our shopping list goes on!
Disney has debuted a TON of new merch to celebrate the big 5-0. So many blues, purples and golds — we love the new EARidescent color scheme! Disney continues to debut new items throughout the months as the celebration continues.
The 50th-anniversary merchandise can primarily be found at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, Creations Shop in EPCOT and World of Disney in Disney Springs.
Merchandise may appear at other shops throughout the resort, so keep an eye out. Select products are also available online at shopDisney.

Disney World's 50th Anniversary Merchandise
With blues, golds and EARidescent touches, the anniversary collection has some toadally awesome looks for the whole frog family. Disney has debuted multiple collections to celebrate the big occasion, and is constantly adding more items throughout the 18-month celebration!
The main Celebration Collection consists of blue hues and features Mickey and the 50th logo, This collection makes for excellent keepsakes to remember your visit during this special celebration. Leap loves his blue castle button-up shirt (which seems to be a very popular choice — we saw many frogs also wearing it on our visit).
Frog Favorite: The Mickey soap dispenser (You get a Mickey-shaped dollop of foam soap whenever you watch your hands. How fabulous is that?)
Along with the main collection, Disney has come up with additional merchandise. As an homage to the iconic Cinderella Castle, the Castle Collection is white and gold-focused with spirit jerseys, mugs, ornaments and more.
Frog Favorite: Golden light-up ears (Elegantly white-and-gold designs AND they light up. Need I say more?)
The retro-themed Vault Collection pays tribute to 50 years of Disney World with vintage designs. The parent and grandparent frogs might recognize some looks from their trips to Disney. Many designs pay homage to opening day logos and attractions, which they will just love!
The EARidescent collection has lots of sparkling pink and purple merchandise with a spirit jersey, pins, Loungeflys, ears and more!
Other merchandise that we enjoyed were the Mickey and Minnie Wishables in their EARidescent outfits, the 50th pajama set, and the jigsaw puzzle with each of the four theme parks Beacons of Magic.
Other Special 50th Anniversary Souvenirs
We didn't think the balloons at Disney World could get any better! The classic Mickey balloon is now a special EARidescent color with the 50th logo. We love to buy a Mickey balloon on our first day and take a lot of photos with it, and then gift the balloon to another family on our last night.
Specialty popcorn buckets are also updated for the anniversary. Mickey balloon-shaped buckets originally debuted in four colors and were quite popular. They are usually sold out, but you never know if they might return! Other popcorn buckets include Mickey and Minnie in their EARidescent outfits, which can be found at all four theme parks. There's also a special KiteTails design at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
While shopping, make sure to purchase some 50th-themed reusable bags at the register. They're a functional souvenir and the anniversary editions look really great.
There are also some extra goodies you can grab to remember your 50th visit. If staying at a Disney Resort, your room key now has an EARidescent twist! Annual passholders can also swap in their physical pass for a 50th-themed card. If you're a fan of pressed pennies, there are a variety of 50th options available throughout the resort.
Tips on Shopping for 50th Anniversary Merchandise
- There may be lines to enter shops, especially at Magic Kingdom and World of Disney at Disney Springs. At peak times, there may even be a virtual queue in place. Allow extra time to get all of your shopping in, as the 50th-themed areas are often more crowded than the rest of the shops.
- Give me all of the pins! There are lots of 50th-anniversary pins to choose from for all the pin collectors out there.
- Disney's product stock fluctuates a lot, and the stores will often be low on sizes with new specialty merchandise. Our advice is that, if you are debating on a piece of clothing, purchase it when you find your size. If you change your mind, you can return it to ANY Disney Parks store with the receipt. We've definitely had moments of regret when we thought we could buy something later and never could find the correct size again.
