During Pride Month in June, Disneyland hosts one of our favorite Disneyland After Dark events, Pride Nite! Disneyland Pride Nite was a new event in 2023 that keeps coming back each June. At this after-hours event, guests can enjoy unique, themed experiences, exclusive photo opportunities, event merchandise and much more! Disneyland Pride Nite specifically celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. This special party takes place at Disneyland Park for two nights in 2026: June 16 and 18. We attended opening night in 2026 to add fresh photos and updates to this post, so you can get an idea of what to expect for night two. Pride Nite at Disneyland is truly one of our very favorite nights of the year — you won't want to miss it!
FAQs
- What is Pride Nite? Pride Night at Disneyland is a separately ticketed After Dark event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, featuring rainbow projections, a cavalcade and special food and merchandise offerings.
- When is Pride Nite? Pride Nite takes place Tuesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 18, 2026.
- When do Pride Nite tickets go on sale? Tickets went on sale April 9, 2026, through Disneyland's website directly. Magic Key holders had early access to tickets on April 7 and 8.
- Can we buy Pride Nite tickets from Undercover Tourist? Unfortunately, no. You must purchase Pride Nite tickets directly from Disneyland. Do not buy from resellers to avoid scams. You can, however, buy trusted, authorized discount Disneyland tickets from Undercover Tourist for normal park hours and save on Disneyland hotel bookings as well! Kids Summer Park Hopper Tickets are as low as $48 per day through Undercover Tourist!

Pride Nite Overview
The event begins like the other Disneyland After Dark parties, with a three-hour pre-party mix-in from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. PT. After that, the private party runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. PT. Typically, Disneyland Park closes to day guests at 8 p.m.
If you are already in the park before the event, you can check in and get your credentials between Fantasyland and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Check-in starts at 4 p.m. When we checked in this year, we got a free bag of Skittles Gummies Fuego!
At the event, look for characters strolling and dancing through the festivities. Receive a commemorative lanyard and credential keepsake (one of each per guest).
Attractions at Pride Nite
Enjoy short lines and after-hours access to iconic Disneyland rides, such as Indiana Jones Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Toontown is closed. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is not available during the event. But don't worry. It's not needed. Wait times are so short!
Some attractions and park areas close early. In 2026, these are:
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at 7 p.m. (Closed for the event. Hours are subject to change.)
- Tiana's Bayou Adventure at 8 p.m.
- Disneyland Railroad closes at 8 p.m.
- Mickey’s Toontown is closed for the event.
- Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at 12 p.m.
- Sailing Ship Columbia closes at 5 p.m.
- Mark Twain Riverboat closes at 5:40 p.m.
- Casey Jr. Circus Train
Since you can enter the park at 6 p.m., try to ride some rides before 8 p.m. if they are important to you. You might focus on rides that are important to you but closed during the party.
Closed for refurbishment:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
Decor at Pride Nite
Main Street U.S.A. and "it's a small world" are all aglow in rainbow colors. We saw a lot less rainbow projection in 2026 compared to past years.
Pride Nite Tickets
Generally, like all other After Dark events, a limited number of Pride Nite tickets are on pre-sale for Magic Key holders a day before tickets go on sale to the general public. (Keep in mind that a theme park reservation is not required.)
Pride Nite tickets are on sale to everyone as of April 9, 2026. Magic Key holders could purchase on April 7 and 8, 2026. In 2026, tickets are $169 and available directly through Disneyland. If waiting in the online queue, you can opt to be digitally notified when it's your time to enter the ticket store. Once you're in the queue, choose the "notify me" option and enter your email address. Once you get an email that lets you know it's your turn, you'll have 10 minutes to return and purchase tickets. Hop tip: Check spam or junk folders to ensure the initial confirmation is sent.
BOOK NOW AND SAVE UP TO 30% on select stays at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel or the Villas at Disneyland Hotel through Sept. 8, 2026. Plus, you can secure your Disneyland hotel reservation for a refundable $200 deposit today, and pay the remainder 30 days prior to check-in!
Entertainment at Disneyland Pride Nite
Here's all of the colorful entertainment you can expect at Disneyland Pride Nite in 2026!
Welcome Pride Nite Cavalcade (9:05 p.m. and 11 p.m.)
The Welcome Pride Cavalcade returned in 2026! Catch a Welcome Pride Nite cavalcade featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle, Donald, Daisy and Goofy dressed in special attire as they roll down the entire parade route, accompanied by dancers (and confetti on Main Street U.S.A.).
The first cavalcade starts at "it's a small world." There is a long stop by "small world" and on Main Street U.S.A., and that's where we recommend camping out for a great spot (and a confetti streamer moment). The second cavalcade starts at Town Square. This is a popular experience, so get in place early to get a good viewing spot. You might save that location for the second show (less time to invest). After the first cavalcade ends, stick around for the fireworks.
Ohana Dance Party with Stitch (and Friends)
Join the Ohana Dance Party with Stitch and pals at Tomorrowland Terrace from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The DJ will be spinning great tunes and emitting positive vibes at this dance party that celebrates family! We caught a few different Experiments on stage throughout the night.
Pride Nite Dance Club
Party at a Pride Nite Dance Club (9 p.m. to 1 a.m.) along the Rivers of America in front of the closed Pirates of the Caribbean. It invites everyone to enjoy quality dance music under the stars.
'Welcome' Pride Fireworks (9:30 p.m.)
Watch the 'Welcome' fireworks show at Pride Nite at 9:30 p.m. It's the only After Dark party with fireworks in 2026.
Line Dancing
Go line dancing at the Golden Horseshoe from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Beginners welcome. We learned some new moves from an instructor on stage.
Be You with Pride: Musical Celebration (9:45 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.)
Experience a heartwarming performance with live vocalists who sing Disney classics and remind us that we have the power to be who we are! You can find it in front of "small world." Sets are only 15 minutes long, so don't be late. We saw snowfall during "Let It Go" during the performance we saw.
Fond Farewell (12:45 a.m.)
Bid Mickey and friends a Fond Farewell at 12:45 a.m. as they dance in front of the train station. What an end to a great night! This is popular, so arrive early if you want a good view.
Bonus: Tapestry of Happiness (10:15 p.m., 12 a.m. and 12:45 a.m.)
Enjoy some 70th Anniversary Celebration entertainment during Pride Nite! Tapestry of Magic shows on "it's a small world." Keep your eye out for this love letter to Disneyland.
Characters and Photo Locations at Disneyland Pride Nite
Capture shots in front of Pride-themed backdrops, inspirational messages or Disney characters.
Pose in front of fun photo backdrops with inspirational messages and unique characters (includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads).
You can find PhotoPass backdrop and inspirational message locations noted on the event map in the Disneyland app. Here are the 2026 photo-ops:
- Rainbow Steps at Main Street U.S.A. Train Station
- “Welcome” near Mad Hatter in Town Square
- The Golden Girls (new and near Plaza Inn)
- Inspiration Spot (with lightsabers) in Tomorrowland — near Star Tours
- Inspiration Spots featuring quotes from Disney stories — Tarzan (near Jungle Cruise)
- Cross with Pride in front of "small world"
- Pose with Pride by Finding Nemo
- Photo op at Big Thunder trail
Here is another great spot to pose for photos you won't find spelled out on the map or site:
- "Spill the Tea" at the teacup (there was no PhotoPass in 2026)
Use the park map in the Disneyland app to locate characters and entertainment. Use the bar across the top to select Characters. Tap the Mickey heads to find the character in that location. Then tap the character's name to see the times they come out.
You also receive a paper map when you enter the park. The event map in the app is a great way to find general information about characters and limited offerings, but the app is more precise regarding actual locations and times.
Characters
Pride Nite Character locations in 2026 (there are often other surprises so check the Disneyland app):
- Cruella de Vil walking around Main Street U.S.A.
- Anastasia and Drizella around Main Street U.S.A
- Characters from "The Lion King" (Timon and Rafiki) in Adventureland (PhotoPass)
- Clarabelle Cow in New Orleans Square (PhotoPass)
- Charlotte L Bouff, Tiana and Prince Naveen in New Orleans Square
- Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in Frontierland (PhotoPass)
- Goofy in Frontierland (Big Thunder Falls)
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Tomorrowland Launch Bay (PhotoPass)
- Aurora, Maleficent, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather at the Royal Theatre
- Elsa and Anna outside Royal Theatre
- The Evil Queen wandering around Fantasyland
- Queen of Hearts (as a face character) wandering around Fantasyland
- Cinderella and Fairy Godmother wandering around Fantasyland
- Tinker Bell and Friends (Posing and wandering near the exit of Pixie Hollow and Fantasyland; this is a great group to catch!)
- Goofy at Big Thunder Trail
Don't froget to say goodbye to Mickey and pals with the Fond Farewell in front of the train station!
Don't have time to spot them all? You'll also see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Goofy and Clarabelle in the cavalcade. But what we love about Pride Nite is that it's full of wandering surprise characters that are not on the list. So it's much easier to find and meet characters compared to other events.
Pride Nite Dining and Merchandise
Here's a look at the special food items available just for Pride Nite. There are quick-service and table-service options. There are usually three different dining packages to choose from (details further down).
Taste some savory snacks and sweets, made especially for the pride party. We know some of this year's menu items. Some items may be available all month. Plaza Inn usually has a rainbow layer cake all month as well.
Our biggest tip for Pride Night is to mobile order your food early in the day for that night. Most food items are available starting at 8 p.m. Pick up food and eat early to make sure you get your must-have items, as some items do sell out. Also, get your dining out of the way early so you have more time during the event to experience all the entertainment, characters and photo ops.

You need an event credential and wristband. There's Pride Nite merchandise at Emporium and Starcade in Tomorrowland. Starcade may open early!
You'll also find Pride merchandise during the month of June in the theme parks. Keep an eye out for the Pride popcorn bucket in June.
If you can make it to Disneyland Pride Nite, hop by in September for Disneyland Gay Days. Gay Days is an unofficial event that takes place in the theme parks. Our Disneyland Gay Days post has all the deets.
