Overview of Kia Center

Home to the Orlando Magic, Orlando Solar Bears and Orlando Predators, the Kia Center opened Oct. 1, 2010, as the Amway Center. (The venue was renamed Dec. 20, 2023, in honor of Kia America's position as the official automotive partner of the National Basketball Association and Orlando Magic.) The arena has hosted numerous milestone events, including NBA All-Star Weekend, NCAA March Madness and Wrestlemania 33, as well as sold-out concerts, such as Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake. Over the course of a year, you'll find NBA and collegiate basketball, ice hockey, arena football, boxing, mixed martial arts, concerts, family shows, exhibitions and other major events hosted at this environmentally-friendly venue.

Location of Kia Center

Kia Center is located at 400 West Church Street. Conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Orlando, it's accessible via public transportation options, such as SunRail and LYMMO, and ride-share services, such as Uber and Lyft. When traveling in downtown, be sure to allow extra time due to ongoing I-4 Ultimate construction that can directly impact traffic flow around Kia Center.

Parking at Kia Center

Kia Center offers reserved/pre-paid parking in the GEICO Garage located at 400 West South Street which you can easily access from SR408 and I-4. Event parking at GEICO Garage is good for the entire day. However, re-entry isn't allowed. This rule also applies on days when an event has multiple showtimes. You'll also find convenient accessible parking in the GEICO Garage. Guests using the GEICO Garage may access the venue via the 5th-floor pedestrian bridge, which connects to Kia Center's Terrace Level (Level 3).

Parking is also available for purchase inside the HD Supply Garage located at West Pine Street near Division Avenue, a short five-minute walk from the arena. You can purchase parking through Ticketmaster.com or at the Kia Center Box Office during regular box office hours. Purchases must be made by 5 p.m. on the day of your event. VIP parking is available in the Blue Lot on the north side of the arena and is accessible via Division Avenue between Church Street and Central Avenue.

Additionally, the city of Orlando has downtown parking options available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking prices vary from $10-$20. You can reserve downtown parking via ParkMobile. Several of the surrounding surface lots and garages also have accessible parking spaces.

Seating at Kia Center

When it comes to sporting events, the most affordable seats are going to be in the Promenade. Sections 201 and 217 in the Promenade and 101 and 110 in the Terrace are going to place you directly behind the basket or goals, while sections 209 and 225 in the Promenade and 105-106 and 114-115 in the Terrace are going to place you half court or center ice. For hockey events specifically, check out sections 101, 102 and 118 for seats in the attack twice zone.

For concerts, if you're on a budget, sections 216-218 give you a clear view of the performers at an affordable price. If you want to avoid nosebleeds but still keep that clear-ahead view, try section 110. If you want an up-close view of your favorite artist, check out any of the eight sections of floor seating. Section F1 is going to give you the absolute closest view.

Handicap accessible seating is available in sections 101, 104-107, 113-116, and most odd-numbered sections in the Promenade. Guests with sensory sensitivity concerns can request a free bag of noise-canceling headphones, among other items, to ensure an enjoyable event experience!
