Every year, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the PEANUTS gang start off the new year by taking over the entire park during the Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS Celebration! From Jan. 31 to Feb. 22, 2026, tadpoles and their parents are invited to experience all things PEANUTS through this colorful celebration that immerses guests into the famous comic strip. PEANUTS Celebration takes place only on weekends and on President's Day (Feb. 16, 2026).
Our frog squad always has a wonderful time hopping into the memorable world of the PEANUTS gang at the Knott's PEANUTS Celebration. We've packed this guide with all the needed details to plan your upcoming visit. The event produces plenty of nostalgia for us older frogs who grew up watching and reading about the PEANUTS gang, and the tadpoles love it too.
When we visited Knott's during the PEANUTS Celebration, we were able to meet plenty of characters in the park, try new foods and experience frogciting entertainment. Keep reading for a full rundown of the new family-friendly shows, tasty eats and comic-strip-themed décor found throughout the park!

Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration Dates & Hours
PEANUTS Celebration activities are available on weekends, from Jan. 31 through Feb. 22, 2026. (Plus President's Day on Feb. 16, 2026). You'll see fewer entertainment options and characters during the week. Special food items are also available on the weekends. Park hours vary based on the date, so make sure to check the Six Flags app before planning your trip. You can find shows and events taking place during the celebration in the app as well. Let's Celebrate!
In the afternoon, head to the Calico Mine Stage for a high-energy musical show, featuring Snoopy and Charlie Brown and all their pals. The musical dance show celebrates friendship and over 75 years of the PEANUTS comic strip.
Snoopy's Legendary Rooftop Concert (Calico Mine Stage on select days): When the sun goes down, this concert comes to life! This high-energy rock-and-roll performance, led by the indie band, The Jelly of the Month Club, features the PEANUTS gang. The show provides a family-friendly way to end the day.
PEANUTS Sketch School (held at Wilderness Dance Hall in 2026): If your froglets enjoy the Animation Studio at Disney California Adventure, then they’ll love this activity for sure! Take a break from the lines, rides and food, and learn how to create a PEANUTS masterpiece from the park’s resident art teacher. We drew Lucy on our visit! The audience could choose a happy Lucy or a crabby Lucy. The unanimous vote was crabby!
(New) Knott’s Express: Join Charlie Brown, Linus, Sally and a host of singers and dancers as they travel down the Boardwalk midway and into Charleston Circle in a musical celebration of fun and happiness. The show also stops in front of Xcelerator. Clap along, sing out loud with the toe-tapping music and colorful choreography. Dance and sing along with the gang around Charleston Circle.
PEANUTS Characters
There are new and exciting ways to see and interact with the PEANUTS gang during the PEANUTS Celebration. The PEANUTS pals are generally out and about around the park between park opening and 5 p.m. During that time, you can greet characters at Town Hall, in Camp Snoopy and around Charleston Circle during the cavalcade.
Don't miss Pig-Pen’s Pig Pen at the Livery Stable. Say hello to horses, donkeys, sheep and Pig-Pen himself while you are there. This is a great stop in the middle of Ghost Town.
Just around the corner from Calico Park, you can play with PEANUTS characters at the PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree. Froglets are invited to play games from the Wild, Wild West. The games offered include stick horse races, horseshoe tosses and other Western activities, which vary throughout the day. Although this experience may only be available on weekends, a daily schedule of these activities can be found is the Six Flags app and nearby signage.
You can also meet PEANUTS characters in Camp Snoopy. Find times and locations in the app. Also, dance along with several characters at Charleston Circle or in front of Xcelerator during Knott's Express.
Trace PEANUTS Characters
Step into a new Kite Flying Foibles exhibit at Town Hall.
While you are in there you can also grab a pencil and paper to trace PEANUTS characters at the light table to create your own comic strip. Even Franklin gave it a try one year!
You can also meet a character on the porch of Town Hall!
Knott's Food Specialties
There are plenty of frogtastic treats throughout the park specifically made for the PEANUTS Celebration. It's easy to find themed cookies and treats at eateries around the park. Other foods offered may have a PEANUTS connection by name alone but are still delectable. Look out for blue food offerings signs at all dining locations throughout the park. These signify that the establishment sells special PEANUTS Celebration items.
The All-Day Dining Plan offers guests the ability to enjoy a meal every 90 minutes they are in the park. It can save you a lot of money on food in the park. Even a single meal deal can save you some cash. Learn more about it in our Knott's Berry Farm food guide. You can also purchase the deal (through Knott's) and eat for free all day long!
You can find all the food and beverage offerings (and which offerings are on the Dining Plan) for the 2026 celebration in the event guide. Our favorite was the Cheesy Mac and Cheese Bites with BBQ bacon and spicy aioli. We had to go back for seconds! The tadpoles also loved the mac and cheese that came with the frittata. We had to go back for more of that too!
Knott's PEANUTS Celebration Rides & Other Attractions
Comic-Strip Photo Opportunities: Upon entering through the gates, frog families are greeted with vibrant photo opportunities. These photo backdrops revive scenes from the classic PEANUTS comic strip, including many of its beloved cartoons.
Fans of the PEANUTS gang might remember the infamous Charlie Brown & Lucy football gag or enjoy posing in Woodstock's nest. The celebration also carries a variety of PEANUTS decor and buntings around the park.
