Every year, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the PEANUTS gang start off the new year by taking over the entire park during the Knott’s Berry Farm PEANUTS Celebration! From Jan. 27 to Feb. 25, 2024, tadpoles and their parents are invited to experience all things PEANUTS through this colorful celebration that immerses guests into the famous comic strip.
Our frog squad always has a wonderful time hopping into the memorable world of the PEANUTS gang at the Knott's PEANUTS Celebration. We've packed this guide with all the needed details to plan your upcoming visit. The event produces plenty of nostalgia for us older frogs who grew up watching and reading about the PEANUTS gang, and the tadpoles love it too.
When we visited Knott's during the PEANUTS Celebration, we were able to meet plenty of characters in the park, try new foods — including every mac and cheese dish — and experience frogciting entertainment. Keep reading for a full rundown of the new family-friendly shows, tasty eats and comic-strip-themed décor found throughout the park!

Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration Dates & Hours
PEANUTS Celebration activities are available daily, from Jan. 27 through Feb. 25, 2024. Previously, the celebration only took place on weekends (and holidays). This year, it is hoppening every day in 2024. However, you may see fewer entertainment options and characters during the week. Some special food items may also only be available on the weekends. Park hours vary based on the date, so make sure to check the Knott's Berry Farm app before planning your trip. You can find shows and events taking place during the celebration in the app as well. We always recommend arriving before the park opens to experience the shortest lines and smallest crowds of the day. Access the event guide here.

Keep an eye out for new and returning acts this year, such as the following:
Charlie Brown's Trivia Challenge (Bird Cage Theater on select dates): How well do you know the PEANUTS gang? You'll find out during this trivia show.
Snoopy's Legendary Rooftop Concert (Calico Mine Stage on select days): When the sun goes down, this concert comes to life! This high-energy rock-and-roll performance, led by the indie band, The Jelly of the Month Club, features the PEANUTS gang. The show provides a family-friendly way to end the day.
It's Your Life, Charlie Brown (Calico Mine Stage on select dates): Charlie Brown gets the surprise of his life in this game show, "It's Your Life." This experience offers music, fun and even some surprise guests (including Snoopy).
PEANUTS Sketch School (Bird Cage Theater): If your froglets enjoy the Animation Studio at Disney California Adventure, then they’ll love this activity for sure! Take a break from the lines, rides and food, and learn how to create a PEANUTS masterpiece from the park’s resident art teacher. We drew Lucy on our visit! The audience could choose a happy Lucy or a crabby Lucy. The unanimous vote was crabby!
The James Street Trio (Boardwalk BBQ): Grab a savory dish, take a seat and allow the smooth, jazz stylings of Vince Guaraldi to transport you to the world of PEANUTS.
"PEANUTS On the Go" Cavalcade: Dance and sing along with the gang around Charleston Circle. Times for this event can be found on the Knott's Berry Farm app.
Hop tip: Keep an eye out for PEANUTS characters around the Charleston Fountain in Charleston Circle.
PEANUTS Characters
There are new and exciting ways to see and interact with the PEANUTS gang during the PEANUTS Celebration. The PEANUTS pals are generally out and about around the park between park opening and 5 p.m. During that time, you can greet Snoopy (at Town Hall), and the rest of the crew, with a hug or a high five!
Don't miss Pig-Pen’s Pig Pen at the Livery Stable. Say hello to horses, donkeys, piglets and Pig-Pen himself while you are there. This is a great stop in the middle of Ghost Town.
Just around the corner from Calico Park, you can play with Linus at the PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree. Froglets are invited to play games from the Wild, Wild West. The games offered include stick horse races, horseshoe tosses and other Western activities, which vary throughout the day. Although this experience may only be available on weekends, a daily schedule of these activities can be found on the Knott's Berry Farm app.
You can also meet PEANUTS characters in Ghost Town, Calico River Rapids and Fiesta Plaza. Find times and locations in the app. Also, look for several characters at Charleston Circle.
Meet Franklin
Franklin joined the PEANUTS in 1968. Step into a new exhibit at Town Hall to learn about Franklin and why he is important to history and pop culture. Plus, you get to meet him and pose for a picture!
While you are in there you can also grab a pencil and paper to trace PEANUTS characters at the light table to create your own comic strip. Even Franklin gave it a try!
Knott's Food Specialties
There are plenty of frogtastic treats throughout the park specifically made for the PEANUTS Celebration. It's easy to find themed cookies and treats at eateries around the park. Other foods offered may have a PEANUTS connection by name alone but are still delectable. Look out for blue food offerings signs at all dining locations throughout the park. These signify that the establishment sells special PEANUTS Celebration items.
The All-Day Dining Plan offers guests the ability to enjoy a meal every 90 minutes they are in the park. It can save you a lot of money on food in the park. Even a single meal deal can save you some cash. Learn more about it in our Knott's Berry Farm food guide. You can also purchase the deal (through Knott's) and eat for free all day long!
There is a dining and tasting card for PEANUTS Celebration 2024: It's $45 (plus tax) for six tastes. Each tasting card comes with a PEANUTS character straw. We got Franklin. You can purchase the card at dining locations. Most of the tastes we saw were about $10 to $15, so if you really want to try a lot of mac and cheese dishes, this card will save you money. Tasting card portions are full portions but without a side.
It’s the Great Mac and Cheese, Charlie Brown! We hope you like Mac and Cheese because that is the theme for the food this year. Meals included on the dining plan are followed by an asterisk (*) Items on the tasting card have a TC after them.

Comic-Strip Photo Opportunities: Upon entering through the gates, frog families are greeted with vibrant photo opportunities. These photo backdrops revive scenes from the classic PEANUTS comic strip, including many of its beloved cartoons.
Fans of the PEANUTS gang might remember the infamous Charlie Brown & Lucy football gag or enjoy posing in Woodstock's nest. The celebration also carries a variety of PEANUTS decor and buntings around the park.
