Here Are This Week’s Theme Park Highlights:
- Start your engines! Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy will speed into Disney World's Hollywood Studios (near Rock 'n' Rollercoaster) in early 2019. The new show will feature your favorite characters showing you their tricks of the trade ... with a few surprises, of course!
- Have you been following along on our Instagram adventures through Pixar Fest this week? If so, you've probably noticed a fun, new dance party at Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland Park. Move and groove along with your fave Pixar Pals nightly between 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- Accio, dessert! Universal Studios Hollywood is now serving an exclusive new hard-packed Butterbeer ice cream in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. (You'll now catch me singing "These are a few of my favorite things..." all day.) Have any members of your Frog Pond tried a scoop? Let us know what you think!
- We've been anxiously awaiting the debut of Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration. This sure-to-be awesome nighttime show on the lagoon featuring fun projections and pyro is officially in technical rehearsals. If you're visiting soon, be sure to ask a team member if you'll be lucky enough to catch a showing!
- Toy Story Land opened to rave reviews at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. It might just be our new favorite place! We got to visit this week (as honorary toys, of course) and have updated our Giddy-Up Guide with details and tips. The rides have also been added to our park plans and Orlando Planning App for those of you with upcoming trips.
- Calling all SeaWorld Orlando passholders! Have you heard the news? New and existing annual passholders get first dibs on riding Infinity Falls, the brand new water ride coming to the park this summer. Hop on this offer and make your online reservation before it expires July 15!
