NEW! Guests Can Now Modify Theme Park Reservations Without Canceling at Disneyland Resort

Hoppy news! The Disneyland Resort theme park reservation system just got a welcome update — instead of needing to completely cancel and rebook a park reservation if you have to change the date or park for your visit, you can now simply modify the reservation to your new date or park without having to cancel the reservation first. Guests can make reservation changes on Disneyland.com (those using the app will be redirected to the website). This modification ability is still subject to reservation availability and applicable blockout dates.

It may be a simple change, but we're hoppy for the simplification!

Do we know what the time limit is on allowing a modification? For example, if the morning of - we want to modify to a different date, are we able to? Thanks in advance

Hi Sarah!

Yes, with regular park tickets, you can modify the same day as long as the date you want to move to has availability. (If you're a Magic Key holder, then you must modify or cancel the park reservation by 11:59 p.m. the night before.) Some seasons are more challenging than others to get last-minute openings (such as October, December, spring break, etc.) when the entire week could be sold out in advance.
