Artist Overview
Singer-songwriter Parker McCollum began writing his own songs when he was 13 years old, citing his brother and George Strait as inspirations. McCollum moved to Austin, TX for college and started touring shortly after, has released several albums, won New Male Artist of the Year at the American Country Music Awards and performed to thousands of fans at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. His music incorporates Americana and country along with blues, soul and folk rock, adding a good helping of rock guitar to his carefully crafted ballads.
