Overview of 'Ohana Restaurant
'Ohana is located within Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World Resort. It is located on the left-hand side of the Great Ceremonial House (the resort's main building). If arriving by car or bus, you'll want to head up to the second floor, which is the same level as the monorail station. 'Ohana's character breakfast is $45 per adult or $29 per child, plus tax and tip. 'Ohana is also open for dinner, but there are no characters ($55 per adult or $33 per child, plus tax and tip).
Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended for this popular location. You can check with a cast member at the host stand or use the My Disney Experience app. You can also see if the restaurant is accepting walk-ins, though they were not the day we attended. Reservations can get booked up well in advance, so we recommend checking at the 60-day mark (or during your 60+ day mark if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel) and continuing to refresh in the My Disney Experience app or website. We managed to snag ours the day before due to cancellations, so you may have better luck trying again the week leading up to your visit.
'Ohana is adorned with tikis and tropical touches. The majority of the tables in the restaurant are by the large windows, providing a view of the Polynesian and even Magic Kingdom in the background (we could spy Cinderella Castle!).
Characters at 'Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast
'Ohana means family, and Lilo and Stitch know that friends are family, too! They've invited some of their friends to join in on their Best Friends Breakfast.
Guests get a chance to see Stitch, Lilo, Mickey in his Hawaiian shirt and Pluto in his lei. Characters rotate through the restaurant, stopping at each table for a brief interaction and a chance for hugs and photos. All of the characters typically sign autographs, and you'll also receive a card with all four signatures on the back, as well. Periodically, the characters will grab their themed props and dance around the restaurant in the 'Ohana Aloha Parade.
Stitch can also be found intermittently in Tomorrowland (as well as the Disney Adventure Friends cavalcade) at Magic Kingdom. Lilo is extremely rare to see, and this is typically the only location where you can meet her. Mickey and Pluto's outfits are unique to this location, as well.
'Ohana Breakfast Menu
Breakfast Menu
'Ohana Breakfast Skillet:
- Scrambled eggs
- Pork sausage links
- Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple compote
- Fried island-style potatoes
- Biscuits
- Mickey and Stitch waffles
- Fresh fruit
- Pineapple-coconut breakfast bread

We really enjoyed the food here at 'Ohana. You start off with fresh fruit and the delicious breakfast bread (which tasted like dessert!). The main platters came out immediately with Mickey (and Stitch) waffles and then each person gets a plate with all of the other breakfast goodies. These were very generous portions — we definitely were not members of the clean plate club this time. The food is the perfect sampling of American breakfast classics we love with a touch of Polynesian flair.
Our Final Thoughts on 'Ohana Restaurant
We had a lovely time at 'Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast. We love visiting the Polynesian and are so hoppy that character dining is back. It's a great opportunity to see some rare characters, and it's always a treat to see our favorite alien, Stitch.
This location is extremely popular, so be sure to book your reservation well in advance. Otherwise, keep an eye on reservations a few days before in case you can snag a cancellation.
'Ohana has delicious food, a great location and fun characters — it's definitely one of our favorite character dining locations!
