The National Hurricane Center is currently tracking a potential tropical storm that could form and impact Florida over the weekend and early next week. The majority of Central Florida theme parks have not announced operational adjustments for severe weather at this time — except for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island in Tampa. We will continue to update if we learn more from each of the parks.
Walt Disney World Resort Updates
- Theme parks are expected to operate as normal — no official statements have been made.
- Disney Skyliner closes during inclement weather, and as such, would likely not run if majorly impacted. Alternative bus transportation will be offered to any destinations typically serviced by Disney Skyliner.

- At this time, Universal released a statement that park operations and hours are continuing as normal.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Updates
- Due to inclement weather, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will close early at 7 p.m. and Adventure Island will close early at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024. Both parks remain closed on Sunday, Aug. 4, and will reopen as scheduled on Monday, Aug. 5.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort Updates
