Severe Weather Updates for Florida Theme Parks

Update from the Frog Family

The National Hurricane Center is currently tracking a potential tropical storm that could form and impact Florida over the weekend and early next week. The majority of Central Florida theme parks have not announced operational adjustments for severe weather at this time — except for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island in Tampa. We will continue to update if we learn more from each of the parks.

Walt Disney World Resort Updates

  • Theme parks are expected to operate as normal — no official statements have been made.
  • Disney Skyliner closes during inclement weather, and as such, would likely not run if majorly impacted. Alternative bus transportation will be offered to any destinations typically serviced by Disney Skyliner.
  • For more information and updates, you can visit Disney World's website.

Universal Orlando Resort Updates

SeaWorld Orlando Updates

  • SeaWorld is expected to operate as normal — no official statements have been made.
  • Check SeaWorld's website for updates.
  • For more information on SeaWorld's Weather-Or-Not assurance policy, visit SeaWorld Orlando's website.

Discovery Cove Updates

  • Discovery Cove Orlando is expected to operate as normal — no official statements have been made.
  • Check Discovery Cove's website for updates.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Updates

  • Due to inclement weather, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will close early at 7 p.m. and Adventure Island will close early at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024. Both parks remain closed on Sunday, Aug. 4, and will reopen as scheduled on Monday, Aug. 5.
  • Check the website or social media channels for updates on the parks' reopening. Please review the Weather-Or-Not assurance policy.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort Updates

  • LEGOLAND Florida Resort is expected to operate as normal — no official statements have been made.
  • For more information, visit LEGOLAND's website.

Other Florida Attractions Updates

  • ZooTampa at Lowry Park will be closed Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024. For more information, visit ZooTampa's website.
  • The Florida Aquarium will continue to operate as normal. However, Feathers in Flight, the rooftop presentation, will not be available on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 and 9, 2024. For updates, stay tuned to the aquarium's website and social media channels.
  • Clearwater Marine Aquarium will be open on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, and will continue to monitor closely. For updates, visit the aquarium's website or social channels.

Other Florida Travel Updates

  • Tampa International Airport (TPA) is monitoring the weather via traveler alert. TPA remains open and operational at this time, but expect delays and cancellations. Follow the airport on X (formerly Twitter) @FlyTPA for the latest updates.

We purchased 5 5 days passes for Disney from you. We used 3 days before the hurricane closure. We head home tomorrow 9/30 and can not come back to use the remaining 2 days.

Who do we ask for a refund?
