Overview of Universal Kids Resort
In January 2023, Universal Destinations & Experiences (then, Universal Parks & Resorts) announced a "new concept"-styled resort, designed specifically for families with young kids. Just 10 months later, construction began. Then, another month later, the resort was revealed to be named Universal Kids Resort and that it would encompass 97 acres of land and include a five-story, 300-room hotel. (More on that later!) We're so hoppy to share that the resort is now officially open for a frogtastic day of play with all your favorite characters!
Adding yet another imaginative property to Universal's ever-expanding global portfolio, this one-of-a-kind park is specifically engineered to inspire fun for young kids (and their entire family!). Set in a lush green landscape and featuring immersive themed lands, families will enjoy more intimate and engaging attractions for young audiences, such as family-friendly attractions, interactive and playful shows, character greetings, unique merchandise and fun food and beverage menus. As with any Universal property, this concept celebrates its iconic brand of entertainment, humor and innovation and brings to life its beloved characters and stories in ways that thrill even the tiniest of tadpoles.

With any general admission ticket, you'll have access to seven amazing lands featuring incredible rides and shows, fun interactive play areas, serene sensory gardens to find moments of relaxation and so much more!

- Universal Kids Resort: 1-Day General Admission Ticket (starting at $60.92, plus tax) grants you one day of general admission to Universal Kids Resort. You'll select your visit date at checkout.
- Universal Kids Resort: 2-Day General Admission Ticket (starting at $77.71, plus tax) grants two consecutive days of general admission to Universal Kids Resort. Your admission commences on and includes the date you select.
- Universal Kids Resort: 1-Day General Admission Ticket + Coca-Cola Freestyle® Souvenir Cup (starting at $74.98, plus tax) grants you one day of general admission to Universal Kids Resort and one 24-ounce Coca-Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup.

The addition of a Coca-Cola Freestyle Cup is a game-changer. Delicious, refreshing beverages every 10 minutes? Yes, please! It's the perfect way to keep hydrated in the Frisco sun! Plus, Universal Kids Resort has five exclusive flavors at their Coca-Cola Freestyle machines you'll definitely want to try: Minute Maid Triceratops Twist, Sprite Curious Cooler, Minute Maid Poppin' Punch, Fanta Easy Peasy Orange Squeasy and Hi-C Pineapple Passion. YUM! (Purchasing the souvenir cup at the resort will set you back $19.99 for one day, $17.99 for two days and $15.99 for three to six days.)
To redeem your ticket, go straight to the gate and onto the rides. No will-call exchange necessary! Each ticket is subject to Undercover Tourist's 365-day return policy, which makes your ticket refundable for one year from the date of purchase. (E-Ticket must be unused.) Parking is not included in your ticket, nor is admission to separately ticketed events or discounts on food and merchandise. When purchasing through Undercover Tourist, tickets are available about 90 days in advance.
Additional admission options are available directly through Universal Kids Resort, including annual passes (currently sold out), vacation packages and a specially priced tickets for eligible Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, eligible/verified Veterans and Retired U.S. Military Members.
Also available directly through the Universal Kids Resort site is a 1-Day Double Stroller Rental ticket which entitles one guest access to a Double Stroller for one calendar day. A Double Stroller features a shaded canopy, seats two tadpoles and provides you with extra space and convenience! (Recommended for a combined weight of 100 pounds of less.) You must present your ticket to the designated rental area located at the Park Entrance to receive your Double Stroller. This ticket is non-refundable, non-transferable and must be used by the same person on all days.
Universal Kids Resort Parking
Universal Kids Resort is located at 1 Universal Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034. The resort offers two different parking tiers: Regular Parking and Premium Parking. Compared to Regular Parking, Premium Parking allows for a closer, more convenient parking location near the front of the resort parking lot. While you can leave and re-enter the parking lot on the same day during scheduled operating hours, Premium Parking is subject to availability and may not be available upon re-entry.

Guests may use an NTTA TollTag to pay for Regular Parking upon arrival for an expedited entry experience and should follow signage to the designated toll lanes. If you paid using an NTTA TollTag, you can exit and re-enter the parking lot through the TollTag lane. If you don't have an NTTA TollTag, use the paid parking toll lanes to purchase Regular or Premium Parking upon arrival and pay with a credit or debit card.
Accessible (handicap) parking is available for guests with a valid handicap placard of license plate, which must be properly displayed at all times, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Motorcycle parking, on the other hand, is not currently available, but motorcycles are welcome to use standard parking spaces. Additionally, EV charging stations, valet parking and trams or other internal transportation options aren't available at this time.

Isle of Curiosity
A perfect playtopia designed for kids to freely roam and play alongside their favorite characters, the Isle of Curiosity is a central hub with shady lawns and restful benches to rest and recharge. You'll also find delicious, kid-approved classic treats and an epic dance party with the one and only Gabby. Use your shrinking powers and step inside Gabby's Dollhouse for a mini meet and greet with Gabby and her adorable feline friends from DreamWorks' "Gabby's Dollhouse" as they welcome you to the amazing lands of Universal Kids Resort.
Fuel up for your day of play at Universal Kids Resort Café, where you'll find breakfast, snack packs and all-day pastries. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth at Cakey's Cupcakes, where you'll find chocolate, vanilla and even rainbow concoctions. Then burn off that sugar rush at Gabby's Cat-Tastic Dance Party!, where you can show off your best moves with Gabby herself! Don't froget to hit up Universal Kids Resort Store for those ever-important souvenirs.
DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp
Let the hoppiest couple in Far Far Away take you through their ogretale love story as you stomp and splash away in two interactive play areas — Shrek's Swamp Splash & Smash and Shrek's Swamp Rompin' Stomp. Then, savor the tastiest treats in all the land at Swamp Snacks, including the iconic Shrekzel, and gear up with the latest swamp styles at Triplets Treasures, where mommies and daddies will find matching outfits with their growing ogres.
Shrek and Fiona's Happily Ogre After

Hear about how an ogre and a princess were enchanted by love on Shrek & Fiona's Happily Ogre After, a special ride built by Shrek himself for his triplets! This magical attraction will have you reliving the quest to rescue Princess Fiona from a fearsome fire-breathing dragon with Shrek's noble steed, Donkey, by your side.

Interact with Shrek and Fiona at a big, green storybook meet and greet. Swap "manly stories" with the characters you love watching over and over and over in their swamp.
Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom
It's Bikini Bottom's best day ever, and SpongeBob and friends cannot wait to show you around their neighborhood under the sea. Relax in the shade and grab a pic with Larry the Lobster at Mussel Beach or splash around at Pineapple Paradise, a wet play area. Then, head over to Glove World Midway, where you can try your luck at winning cool prizes at Gone Jellyfish' and cheer on Gary in The Great Snail Race.
Jellyfish Fields Jamboree
No height requirement
Frolic in the Jellyfish Fields Jamboree, where you'll ride atop a buzzing school of pink jellyfish and float high above the coral along a current of fun in your own Jelly Angler.
Barnacle Bus

Take a ride on the Barnacle Bus as you look out your window at the picturesque views of beautiful Bikini Bottom. See if you can spot Goofy Goober's, Glovey Glove and even SpongeBob's loyal pet, Gary the Snail!
Bobbing Barrels

Compete in Bobbing Barrels, a wet and wild ride that will have you spinning round and round and using your cannon to blast water at your opponents with help from your friends, Patrick and Sandy.
Mrs. Puff's Boating School

Prepare to embark on nautical nonsense as you put your boating skills to the test at Mrs. Puff's Boating School, where you'll speed around a course, navigating bumps and hills and even spin backward before coming to a halt and earning your boating license.
Meet SpongeBob & Friends
Say Krabby Patty with cheese! You can snap a photo with SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star or Squidward Tentacles and Texas' own Sandy Cheeks at an amazing undersea meet and greet.
Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club
Let the games begin as Illumination’s Minions overrun a peaceful vacation retreat. When Yellow Minions attempt to rein in their Purple counterparts, it leads to a wave of unpredictable fun. Go wild in interactive play areas or just relax and watch the chaos unfold. You can also rep your side with pride by visiting the Bello Bay Boutique, which is stocked with Team Yellow, Team Purple and other mischievous merchandise. Lastly, be sure to recharge during your whirlwind getaway at Bello Bay Bites with some tasty Minion-themed snacks. Whatever you choose, every splash, laugh and surprise might just bring everyone closer together.
Bello Bay Cruise
Minimum height requirement 40" (102 cm)
Take part in the action-packed, water-soaked antics on the Bello Bay Cruise as the Yellow and Purple Minions face off. Brave the rapids to see which Minions win the water battle, but look out for the splash zone!
Time-based lockers (measuring 11 inches by 11.7 inches by 17.7 inches) are available at the entrance of Bello Bay Cruise and can rented for an additional fee while you ride.
Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby
Minimum height 36" (92 cm)
The Purple Minions have turned a relaxing round of golf utterly upside down. Grab the wheel and hold on tight as the competition spins out of control at the Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby.
Bello! Meet the Minions
Take a break from the unpredictable, water-soaked fun at the Bello Bay Club and spare a moment to say "Bello!" to your favorite Minions at a delightfully chaotic character encounter. Kevin, Stuart and the Evil Purple Minion meet interchangeably.
Jurassic World Adventure Camp
Put your exploration skills to the test and enter a world where curiosity rules and dinosaurs reign. Here, tadpoles can learn about and come face to face with the dinosaurs of Jurassic World in uniquely exciting and interactive ways. Your adventure begins by scaling the Jurassic World Lookout Towers for a Pteranodon's eye view of the park and venturing inside Paddock Play. Curb your T.rex-sized appetite by grazing at the Jurassic World Canteen, which features options for carnivores, herbivores and omnivores alike. Then stock up for your dinosaur-filled day of fun by hopping over to Jurassic World Outfitters and Supply Depot.
Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster
No height requirement. Hand-held infants aren't permitted.
Brave the Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster, where you'll help find the missing Ankylosaurus, Baby Bumpy. Get ready to board a Jurassic World ranger vehicle and join the search party as you roar through the land on this frogciting roller coaster ride that will zoom through twists, turns, peaks and valleys.

Mr. DNA's Double Helix Spin

All that dancing and singing can sure make a Troll hungry! Silence that rumbling stomach over at Trolls Eats!, a dining spot overflowing with a symphony of flavors, and satisfy your sweet tooth at BroZone Cones, where you'll find a bevy of snacks inspired by the most bro-dacious boy band around.
Rhonda's TrollsFest Express

It's the best seat in the house! Climb aboard Rhonda's TrollsFest Express for an in-depth, twisting and turning ride through TrollsFest. Feel the energy of the festival as you groove through the land with Rhonda and friends on this amazing Armadillo Bus ride.
Hair in the Clouds

Join Sheila B for a high-in-the-sky tour of the fest on Hair in the Clouds, where a flying fleet of flower-faced balloons will provide you with an awesome 360-degree view of the party hoppening below. See how many cute critters you can spot on the festival grounds while you're flying high over TrollsFest.

Trollstastic: Concert Countdown
Help prepare for the TrollsFest concert at an interactive show jam-packed with familiar tunes, where you'll bring the party to life by leading a sizzling sound check, focusing luminous lights and brushing up on some killer choreography. Troll-ify Me! Experience
A music festival isn't complete without some sparkle and shine. Get ready to transform into some of your favorite characters with colorful face paint and optional accessories to embrace your inner Trolls-tastic rock star! This hair-raising experience inside Sparkle Shine Glitter Glow takes approximately 15 minutes and is available to Trolls of all ages. (Face-paint is only for grown-ups, though, and the experience is recommended for Trolls five years and older!) Trolls under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a Trolls 18 years or older who may be asked to assist.
You can purchase a Troll-ify Me! Experience Ticket - Level 1 directly through the Universal Kids Resort website. Package 1 just includes your choice of character face paint, but you can upgrade your package upon check-in at the venue to include character outfits and accessories for an additional fee. Separate theme park admission for the same date is required.
You must arrive at the venue on the scheduled date and time listed on your ticket. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture and rebooking is at the discretion of Universal Kids Resort.
DreamWorks' Puss in Boots Del Mar
It's a legendary day with Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Mama Luna and Perrito in Del Mar as the kitty adoption drive is in full swing. Snap a pic with Puss in Boots himself and all his furry friends at the Character Meet & Greet. Then, let out your inner kitten at carnival areas, Barriles de Leche and El Gato's Meow. Don't froget to take a cat nap and relax at the Sensory Garden, featuring a soft winding path filled with tactile plants and textures. Be sure to stop by Mercado de Perrito for the purr-fect souvenir, fill up on delicious bites at Comidas y Leche and treat yourself to something sweet at Tienda de Dulces to toast to an exciting day!
Swings Over Del Mar

Take a ride on Swings Over Del Mar, a flying carousel full of magical colors and stunning painted illustrations of Puss in Boots, Perrito, Mama Luna and more of his adorable furry friends. Prepare to soar and spin high above the colorful kitty adoption day festivities as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the vibrant village of Del Mar.
Mama Luna's Adopt A Kitty Day!
Watch the swashbuckling hero put his skills to the test in Mama Luna's Adopt a Kitty Day!, where you'll laugh, cheer, habla un poco Español and even "meow" and "bark" along to the action. See Puss in Boots live in his greatest adventure yet during this spectacularly silly puppet performance.

Lockers
Guests have unlimited access to lockers during the day of their visit. Lockers are available on a first-come, first served basis.
Daily locker rentals are available at Entrance Plaza and Isle of Curiosity.

Child Swap Program
If you have a tadpole who's too young to ride, feel free to take advantage of Universal Kids Resort's child swap program. One adult member of your party can wait with any children unable or unwilling to ride near the attraction exit while the rest of your party enjoys the attraction! When they return, simply swap places so you can take your turn while they stay with the child(ren).
Family Services
There are two Family Services locations throughout Universal Kids Resort Theme Park. The first location can be found in the front of the park, next to Guest Services and includes a nursing room, quiet room, adult changing room, prayer room and family restroom. The second location can be found within DreamWorks' Puss in Boots Del Mar and includes a nursing room, quiet room and family restroom.
Diaper-Changing Stations
Child-sized diaper changing tables are available in all restrooms throughout the resort! An adult sized-changing table is available in First Aid, located adjacent to Universal Kids Cafe in Isle of Curiosity.
Dietary Needs
If you have any dietary concerns, you can ask to speak with the chef or manager at any Universal Kids Resort restaurant to let them know about any food allergies or intolerances in your party. You're also welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. Simply notify a Security Team Member performing the security bag check at the front gate that you or a member of your party has a food allergy/intolerance. Items should be in a soft-sided cooler.

Universal Kids Resort Hotel
Posing as both the park entrance and a cozy place to spend the night, the 300-room Universal Kids Resort Hotel was designed with families in mind. Rooms comfortably sleep up to five or six guests. Standard Queen, Deluxe Queen and Signature Queen rooms each offer a twin-over-full bunk bed and a queen bed. Family Suites offer a king bed in a separate bedroom, a queen pullout sofa and a twin-over-twin-bunk bed, along with an eating area.
Curiosity Café is your place to chow down throughout the day, where even the pickiest of eaters will find something to love. And don't froget to also check out the full-service bar, outdoor pool, fitness room and game room.
Hotel guests enjoy a dedicated entrance to Universal Kids Resort (valid theme park admission is required for park entry), Early Park Admission to select lands/attractions one hour before the park opens (valid theme park admission is required) and complimentary merchandise delivery directly from the park to the hotel!
Book your room now through Undercover Tourist and — not only save some green to spend on a delicious Triple Gooberberry Sunrise – but pay only a refundable $200 deposit to secure your vacation. Then, pay the balance 30 days prior to your check-in date.
