Which room category is best for your stay?

There are many things to consider when choosing which room category is best for your stay. It all comes down to preference and what will make your stay the most comfortable on board the Disney Dream. The Disney Dream has four (4) main categories with various room types within each category. There is a room category that fits every family and budget!

Things to consider for first time cruisers

Worried about sea sickness? To minimize the feeling of ship rocking, opt for a cabin located in the middle of the ship on a lower deck. A room with a verandah also helps with direct access to fresh air from the comfort of your stateroom.
Light sleeper? Opt for a room that is not located above or below main dining areas, pool decks or lounges to reduce noise.
Traveling in a large group? Request a connecting cabin to stay close!
Worried about getting around the ship? Consider staying in a cabin in the same area of the ship as where you'll frequent to reduce having to walk. For example, relaxation lovers should stay in a Forward cabin for an elevator closest to the Spa.

One of the best things about cruising with Disney Cruise Line is the frogtastic amenities and services offered throughout. From water activities to sports and games, the Disney Dream has all the recreational activities to keep the fun going all day long!

Water Activities

Splash into fun on the Disney Dream in the three (3) freshwater pools, two (2) wading pools, one (1) splash pad and one (1) water slide. There is a place to cool down for the entire family!

AquaDuck

Designed by Disney Imagineers, this “water coaster” will be sure to thrill! The waterslide features 765 feet of snaking tubes and a daredevil 4 deck drop. Guests must be 42” to ride and 54” to ride alone.

Donald's Pool

This family friendly pool is geared towards guests of all ages* with plenty of fun, including fun activities and poolside movies. The pool turns into a stage for nighttime dance parties.

Quiet Cove Pool

This adult exclusive pool offers a serene retreat, where adults can unwind. Enjoy varying depths of pool from plunge to shallow and sip cocktails as you sunbathe.

Mickey's Pool

Shaped like the iconic mouse, this family friendly pool is geared towards guests ages 4-14. Tadpoles will love the deck tall water slide and the whole family can enjoy poolside dining and refreshments.

Funnel Puddle

This family friendly wading pool is great for those looking to unwind and little ones can play in the central water fountain.

Nemo's Reef

Tadpoles will love this Nemo themed splashpad, featuring a kid sized waterslide, fountains and bubblers. Designed with their safety in mind, this soft deck surface is intended for kids 3 and under. Swim diapers are required.

Satellite Falls

This adult exclusive wading pool has a peaceful atmosphere as a gentle rain curtain falls from the center.

Sports & Games

Additional family-friendly activities includes sports and games. Test your golf skills with a game of mini-golf or go on an adventure on a themed scavenger hunt. The options are endless!

Goofy's Sports Deck

Does your family have a competitive edge? The mini golf is brightly themed and a ton of fun. In addition to mini golf, there's an enclosed basketball court that's perfect for shooting some free throws or a friendly game of HORSE. For even more family fun, you'll also discover a shuffleboard alongside the running track on Deck 4.

Midship Detective Agency

If you feel like exploring and going on an adventure, then you NEED to try the free ship-wide scavenger hunt! The start location is on Deck 5 midship. Here, you can activate your map, grab a pencil and start “sleuthing!" The Midship Detective Agency is an interactive attraction that kids and adults will love doing together. The game revolves around Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy helping Disney characters solve different cases.

Dining

From table service to quick service to snacks to all-you-can-serve ice cream on board, there are plenty of dining options that will suit the entire family! Disney cruises feature Rotational Dining for dinner. Each night you and your personal wait staff will rotate between the three (3) themed restaurants, ensuring a unique setting and delicious meal. Dinner times occur at approximately 5:45 p.m. (main seating) and 8:15 p.m. (second seating). You're assigned seating time is selected when your book your cruise, dependent on availability. Disney's Believe

Discover a heartwarming journey of a daughter's determination to show her workaholic father life beyond work. Dr. Cornelius Greenaway, a devoted botanist, finds his routine disrupted when his daughter Sophia makes a heartfelt wish on her birthday, summoning Genie, who takes Dr. Greenaway on a journey through beloved Disney tales, helping him realize that magic is not just fantasy but a wondrous reality touching both him and his daughter. Deck Parties

Sailing Away Deck Party

A family-friendly event that happens on Deck 11 and takes place when the ship is leaving port. There is singing, dancing, ticker tape and fireworks. This is a frogtastic way to kick off your cruise after boarding and taking part in all of the safety drills

Pirate Night

On select itineraries, Pirate Night starts at dinner when everyone is encouraged to dress up like a pirate or simply wear the bandannas that are provided in your room. The cabin staff will leave pirate bandannas and gold coins to help get you in the swashbuckling mood. On Deck 11, the pools are covered during the party and there are free pirate-themed games, a pirate show featuring Mickey Mouse, a musical sing-along and a massive fireworks show to end the night.

Character Meet and Greets

Meet, greet and pose for a photo op with some of your favorite Disney Characters on the Disney Dream! You can find your favorite Disney pals in designated locations or wandering throughout the ship.

Characters vary depending on the cruise, so be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or digital board in the Lobby Atrium for more details.

Complimentary Activities

Disney Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12)

This part of the ship is like a theme park all on its own. You must make reservations for 1.5 to 2.5-hour blocks for each child. The playtime is led by multiple Oceaneer staff members where they facilitate storytime, dress up, character visits, interactive games, themed playgrounds, arts and crafts. The themed rooms include a "Star Wars" ship area, Andy's room (from "Toy Story"), animation rooms, video game rooms and Tinker Bell's fairy forest.

Please Note: Children must be fully potty trained to be admitted into this club.

Edge (ages 11-14)

The Edge is an interactive space with video games, a dance floor, karaoke, crafts, arcade, sports and lounge areas. The Disney Dream counselors host lots of daily activities that will get even your shyest tween to warm up and have a great time.

Vibe (ages 14-17)

At the Vibe, your teen frog can find a smoothie bar, a soda fountain, a sundeck, an arcade, a DJ booth, a dance floor, a coffee area and even a lounge area with screens. This is an amazing place for teens to get off the screens and socialize in a space that's designed just for them!

Please Note: Even if your child is still in high school, if they are 18 they aren't allowed in the teen spaces.

Premium Enhancements

It's a Small World Nursery (ages 6 months - 3)

Located on Deck 5 right next to the Oceaneer Club, It's a Small World Nursery is the perfect place for children ages 6 months to 3 years old. Just like the name implies, the entire space is themed after the "It's a Small World" attraction in the Disney theme parks. Your baby will be well cared for here as every caretaker is highly trained in infant safety. Reservations can be made in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is an additional fee for nursery care.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Watch as Fairy Godmother's apprentices transform your tadpole into a princess, knight or sea captain. The Deluxe Carriage and Castle Packages offer princess makeovers, the Royal Knight Package brings valiant adventures, and the Captain Mickey Package brings high-sea shenanigans. For a dash of pirate mischief, the Pirates League offers pirate costumes, makeup, and accessories on Pirate Party Nights, available for kids 3 and older. Appointments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, be sure to book your appointment early.

Royal Court Royal Tea

Give the princesses and princes aged 3 to 12 a royal treat with a tea party. Lady Chamomile, Chef Brule, and Disney princesses welcome you to a whimsical dining celebration. Enjoy delightful tea, sing-alongs, dances, stories, and a chance to meet your favorite princesses. The menu features herbal teas and two delicious courses — sweet and savory — with options for dietary restrictions. Every child leaves with a charming assortment of keepsake gifts, making it a dream-come-true experience for the tadpoles.

Adults Only Fun

From sun-up to sunset, adults can find a peaceful escape—from adults-only pool areas Satellite Falls and Quiet Cove Pool, to intimate dining at Remy or Palo, exciting nightlife and luxurious spa treatments.

Fitness Center

If you're looking to stay in "ship-shape," then be sure to take advantage of the abundant recreation and fitness activities aboard the Disney Dream. You'll find the state-of-the-art fitness center on Deck 9 that offers spectacular views of the ocean. Complimentary fitness classes are offered at various times throughout the length of your voyage. Personalized fitness services are also available with an additional fee. The jogging trail on Deck 4 is perfect for hitting your daily step count goal, even when floating out on the big blue sea.

Senses Spa and Salon

This spa offers massages, facials, a hair salon, a juice and smoothie bar and a nail salon. Relax in the tranquil rainforest-themed aromatherapy steam rooms or sauna. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, plush sandals and robes are included during your treatment. Ahh, bliss! (Forward, Deck 9)
