Situated on the storied Ford Island and encompassing 441 acres in the heart of Pearl Harbor, this museum represents America’s first battlefield in WWII and recounts history to the events on December 7, 1941. In Hangar 37, you’ll see where meticulously restored U.S. and Japanese aircraft, learn about the Niihau Incident, and experience the Battle of Midway exhibit. Hangar 79, a battle-scarred maintenance facility, houses The Shealy Restoration Shop revitalizing vintage aircraft, including the legendary B-17 Swamp Ghost. The Raytheon Pavilion, nestled between Hangars 37 and 79, showcases rotating exhibits on aviation's future and as well as WWII heroes, creating a captivating journey through time and technology.
