What we love
- Fun theming, the larger-than-life characters and statues of favorite Disney characters will be a hit with the tadpoles!
- Except for Disney's Art of Animation Resort, this is the most "Disneyish" resort
- Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels are the least expensive of all the Disney resorts
- About five minutes from shopping and dining off Disney property
- The Fantasia-themed pool is the perfect place to relax and splash around
- Free parking!
Keep in Mind
- At the end of Disney's All-Star Resort Complex
- During off-peak times, it shares transportation with other Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels
- Disney's All-Star Movies guests are dropped off last, which can add to travel time back to the resort
- Disney's All-Star Resort Hotel guest rooms are smaller with double beds
- No slides, hot tubs, or water feature at the pool
- King bedrooms are handicap accessible and do not have tubs
- Preferred rooms are closest to the main pool and food court but see more foot traffic
- Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels sometimes play host to larger sports groups
Notable Facts
- Guests staying in Mighty Ducks section are just as close to Disney's All-Star Music food and transportation
- Groundbreaking for Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels began in November 1992
Frog Family Tips
- Visit each of the resort sections for fun photo ops — you definitely shouldn't skip Toy Story!
- Request the Love Bug section if you want the quietest rooms, but keep in mind that they're furthest from food and transportation
- Select a preferred room in Toy Story, 101 Dalmatians, or Fantasia if you want to be close to the Fantasia Pool and dining, but keep in mind that these will see more foot traffic and possibly noise; we prefer Toy Story 101 because it is away from the pool but still close
- Request a 3rd-story room for less foot traffic noise
- If you want a king bed, you should make this reservation when you book and then call a few days before you check-in (not all requests are guaranteed)
- If the World Premiere Food Court is crowded, try the Reel Spot, a covered outdoor seating area
- Be sure to ask for the Movie Under the Stars schedule during your stay. The whole family will be able to enjoy a movie while sitting poolside or surrounded by Floridian woodlands a truly unforgettable evening!
Best For
- Families spending most of their time in the parks who don't want a lot of amenities but want to take advantage of free Disney transportation and the Extra Magic Hours benefit.
