What we love
- Oversized sports icons and theming, especially Disney characters playing sports, are fun for families
- The football field in Touchdown is the perfect place to let the kids run around and play catch
- Two pools to choose from give the frog family plenty of room to splash around
- Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels are the least expensive of all the Disney resorts
- About five minutes from shopping and off Disney property
- Free parking!
Keep in Mind
- During off-peak times, it shares transportation with other Disney's All-Star Resort Hotels and can add to travel times, although it is the first pickup
- Disney's All-Star Resort Hotel guest rooms are smaller with double beds
- No slides, hot tubs, or water features at the pool
- King bedrooms are handicap accessible and do not have tubs
- Preferred rooms are closest to the main Surfboard Bay Pool and End Zone Food Court but see more foot traffic
- Disney's All-Stars Resorts sometimes play host to larger sports groups, especially Disney's All-Star Sports, which can be noisier

- Disney's All-Star Sports Resort was the first to debut; the Surf's Up! buildings welcomed its first guests April 29, 1994
- The Hoops section is home to 45-foot-tall megaphones

Frog Family Tips
- Request a third-floor room for less foot traffic noise (not all requests are guaranteed)
- If you want a king bed, you should make this request when you book and then call a few days before you check-in (not all requests are guaranteed)
- Select a preferred room in Surf's Up if you want to be close to the main pool and dining, but keep in mind that these will see more foot traffic and possibly noise; we prefer Touchdown section; which is close but not surrounding the pool
Best For
- Families spending most of their time in the parks who don't need a lot of amenities but want the benefits of free Disney transportation and Extra Magic Hours.
