With the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX), you’ll become a member of the next generation of space explorers. You and your team will train for a mission to Mars, practicing docking skills, navigating challenging terrain, and experiencing the sensation of a spacewalk in a microgravity environment using exciting, immersive simulation technology. Upon completion of your training, your ticket grants you full access to explore all exhibits and attractions at the main visitor complex for the remainder of the day.

    Undercover Tourist Policy: This E-Ticket expires on your selected visit date. Ticket is activated upon entry into the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Your E-ticket is good for one (1) day of admission to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on selected visit date only.

    Please Note

    • All visitors must pass through a metal-detecting magnetometer screening device.  No large bags, coolers or luggage permitted inside the front gate.  All bags are subject to search.
    • Parking lot opens at approximately 8:30 a.m.
    • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult.
    • The half-day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex must be used on the same calendar date as the scheduled ATX Plus experience. Admission is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed on an alternate date.
    • Minimum/Maximum purchase rules, there are only 24 guests per ATX session (non-group related). All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Guests must be 10 years or older (with a paid adult) to participate in the ATX program.
    • ATX Plus includes access to the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX) program (8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – ending time may vary), followed by admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex until park close. The half-day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex must be used on the same calendar date as the scheduled ATX Plus experience.
