Holy bananas! Universal Orlando Resort has dropped new concept art, giving us a first look at what Illumination's Minion Land will eventually look like once it opens this summer. The concept art shows off the entire newly re-themed street, which includes new dining spots, a retail shop, character greetings and the all-new attraction, Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast — plus, of course, the existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction.
The Minions will be hard at work, cooking up tasty new dishes at Illumination's Minion Cafe. According to the Orlando Sentinel, menu items will include Otto's noodle bowl, a steak and "cheese ray" sandwich, Agnes' honeymoon soup, Carl's crispy cauliflower (a vegan option) and a dessert named Bob's teddy bear chocolate cream puff. You can also expect to find sweet treats at Bake My Day and Freeze Ray Pops, as well as sweet and savory popcorn at Pop-A-Nana.
Want to bring a Minion home? You'll be able to pick up a souvenir from the new Evil Stuff shop or the existing Super Silly Stuff. At the new Illumination Theater, you can snap photos with your favorite characters from "Despicable Me" and "Sing."
Be sure to keep hopping back for more details and an opening date! We've got it all covered in our Minion Land post.
