Our Top Reasons to See "Frozen the Musical" on Tour

Can you believe "Frozen" came out 10 years ago? That's right! The first "Frozen" movie came out in 2013 and immediately took the world by storm. But let's be honest — I'll always be in my "Frozen" phase. In the last decade, the franchise has expanded with merchandise, theme park appearances and attractions, additional media including "Frozen II" and even a full Broadway musical.

Frozen the Musical debuted on Broadway in March 2018 and ran until March 2020. The Frozen Broadway show has wrapped up its current U.S. tour, but we'll be sure to update this post if there are any future productions. The musical takes the beloved story and adds more songs and storylines, all with the talent and magic of live theater. Did you know Undercover Tourist now offers Broadway tickets? You can save up to 30% on live theater performances — not just Frozen the Musical.

Read on to learn our top froggy four reasons to see "Frozen" on Broadway!

Top Reasons to See "Frozen" on Broadway

1. Experience the film in a whole new way

Fans of the popular film will love seeing their favorite characters come to life on stage with Frozen on Broadway. Viewers can see Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and more in person with costumes and sets reminiscent of the movie. The plot of the musical follows the first "Frozen" movie and includes almost all of our favorite songs, such as "For the First Time in Forever," "In Summer" and, of course, "Let It Go."

2. Enjoy new songs and expanded storylines

Though the Frozen Broadway show closely follows the story of the film, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the new additions exclusive to the musical. You'll fall in love with new songs such as "Dangerous to Dream" and "Monster" from Elsa, a charmingly witty duet with Anna and Kristoff called "What Do You Know About Love" and a new powerful Anna-Elsa duet called "I Can't Lose You." The storyline adds more background to parts of the story, creating a unique universe while still maintaining the core of the plot.

3. It's perfect for all ages, even the little ones

Disney on Broadway productions make for a perfect family outing as there is something for everyone. For many young tadpoles, it is often their first Broadway show (Mommy Frog loves to tell me about how her first show was "The Lion King"). Shows such as "Frozen" are familiar to the kiddos while introducing them to the world of live theater. Plus, the extended story provides world-class entertainment that adults can appreciate as well!

4. Find a location near you

The current U.S. tour is wrapping up, but we'll be sure to update this post if there are any updates about future productions.

We just can't let it go — that's all our favorite reasons to see Frozen on Broadway. Are you planning on seeing Frozen the Musical? Let us know in the comments below! You can now save up to 30% on Broadway tickets through Undercover Tourist.
