Come on, kids! We're heading to the Alligator Capital of the World! That's what you might say if you were one of the coolest parents out there. You do not need a roller coaster to get your thrills in Orlando. In fact, you can take a break from the theme parks to explore some of the creatures naturally found in Florida at Gatorland. Here's everything to know about Gatorland, including how to save on tickets!

Overview of Gatorland Orlando

Gatorland is home to thousands of alligators, including some rare leucistic "white" alligators. The theme park has educational shows, a free-flight aviary, a petting zoo and a natural alligator breeding marsh. You can also get your thrills in the Stompin’ Gator off-road adventure and the Screamin' Gator Zip Line. You can also take a Swamp Walk. It makes for a great half-day adventure!

Meet other wildlife including crocs, birds, turtles, tortoises, wild cats, capybara, sebu and deer.

Gatorland Hours

Gatorland is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. But there are nighttime tours available as well.

Where Is Gatorland?

Gatorland is located in south Orlando, Florida, on Highway 441. The address is 14501 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32837. It's about 15-20 minutes away from Walt Disney World, SeaWorld and the Orlando International Airport, and it's about 14 miles from Universal Orlando. It's a great activity to consider between theme park days.
