Overview of The Gorge

The Gorge Amphitheatre (also known as The Gorge or The Gorge in George) is an outdoor concert venue located in George, WA. Originally built in 1986, the open stage is backdropped by the Columbia River and Columbia Gorge Canyon. The audience enjoys the show while taking in the sweeping scenic views. This unique location has helped The Gorge earn multiple “Best Outdoor Music Venue” awards.

A popular summer festival destination, The Gorge also offers an overnight campground. The amphitheater has hosted well-known artists such as Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Chance the Rapper and Twenty One Pilots.

Behind the structured seating is the general admission lawn, which is first-come, first-served. Grab your picnic blanket and lawn chairs for the perfect outdoor gathering. While furthest from the stage, you get to enjoy the entertainment and take in more of the unique mountain landscape!

Hi

We have Gold RV Camping booked for DMB for the Sept Long Weekend. We have two people travelling in a different car because we cannot fit 6 in one car for the entire trip from Canada. We re looking for a place to leave the second car. Any suggestions? We are fine to squeeze them in the one car for 45 minutes or so. Maybe there is a spot in Ellensburg?

Thanks for any ideas you can offer.

Brad

There is a small park and ride at the George exit of the interstate. I think that is exit 151. Right by Shrees. Will probably be full unless you are really early. Respond to me at email provided if nothing else comes available. Terry

Looking forward to our first concert there next month. If we have one campsite is there a way for two groups to show up at different times? Can the first to arrive drive to pickup the second group at an offsite parking lot if they arrive afterwards instead of getting a second camping/parking spot?
