Overview of Hogwarts Always
Hogwarts Always is an enchanting experience that brings the magic of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to life through a dazzling display of lights, special effects and iconic music from the "Harry Potter" film series. The show tells the story of a year at Hogwarts. Before you begin your school year at Hogwarts, you must shop at some of the iconic shops in Diagon Alley. After you have your owls and supplies, you'll take the Hogwarts Express to the castle. Upon arrival, the Sorting Hat sorts students into their respective houses. Which Hogwarts house do you belong to? Represent your house with pride as a winner of the House Cup is announced at the end of the show. And the best part? The winner changes every time. Additionally, the show contains fun scenes including moments from The Forbidden Forest, the Marauder's Map, a Quidditch match and more. At the end of the show, Dumbledore reminds us that although we may all be different, magic brings us together as one. You will want to have your cameras ready for this moment!
Best Places to Watch Hogwarts Always
Hogwarts Always takes place intermittently throughout the evening from dusk until park close. The show is approximately 8 minutes long, so there will be plenty of opportunities to watch. Here are a few suggested viewing areas that we recommend:
The Main Plaza
This area directly in front of Hogwarts Castle offers a central and unobstructed view. It's where most guests gather to watch the show.
The Bridge to Jurassic Park
The bridge connecting Hogsmeade to Jurassic Park in Islands of Adventure provides a slightly elevated view of Hogwarts Castle. This vantage point can offer a different perspective of the projections.
The Owlery
This area near the entrance to Hogsmeade, adjacent to the Owl Post, can provide a quieter viewing spot with a direct view of the castle.
Pay attention to Universal team members as some of these areas may be for walking only.
