Overview of Hollywood Bowl
Stepping back in time to 1922, the Hollywood Bowl emerged as a beacon of artistic expression in the budding entertainment capital of the world. Originally conceived as a humble wooden platform amidst the picturesque Hollywood Hills, the venue quickly captured the hearts of performers and patrons alike.
Over the decades, the Hollywood Bowl has undergone several transformations, evolving from its modest beginnings to become the largest natural outdoor amphitheater in the United States. From the introduction of its iconic shell-shaped stage in the 1920s to the modern-day enhancements, the Hollywood Bowl has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing a world-class entertainment experience.
This iconic spot has served as the backdrop for a myriad of events, including movie premieres, charity galas and even the occasional sporting event.

Parking at the Hollywood Bowl
Finding parking at the Hollywood Bowl can prove tricky due to limited spaces that tend to sell out quickly. Once you park, remember that the parking is stacked, which means early exit isn't an option.
The lots typically open three hours before the start of each event and there are four main lots available for pre-purchase: Lot A (Blue), Lot B (Yellow), Lot C (Red) and Lot D (Green). However, all parking options may sell out before the event, so it's wise to secure your spot ahead of time. Parking prices typically range from $20 to $24, depending on the lot and event. Accessible parking is also available but limited, so be sure to purchase in advance. You can conveniently purchase advanced parking through ParkWhiz.
Alternatively, the Bowl is easily accessible via public transit. You can take the Metro to the Ovation LA or Universal City and follow signs for the shuttle or walk approximately one mile to the venue. The Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttles are great options to use as well.
For rideshare drop-off and pick-up, head to Lot B (Yellow). Direct your rideshare to 2149 N. Highland Ave. for convenient access.
