Korn, the pioneers of nu-metal, hail from the land of Bakersfield, CA. The band's sound blends metal, hip-hop and industrial influences, with lyrics often exploring themes of pain and alienation. Korn's self-titled debut in 1994 and "Life Is Peachy" in 1996 brought them widespread recognition. Jonathan Davis's unique vocal style mixes screams and vulnerable singing. The band's use of seven-string guitars adds to their heavy sound. Korn has continued to experiment with their music while staying true to their roots, and they remain a major influence in rock and metal music.
The 2025 tour will feature performances across Canada with a few stops in the U.S. The band has two co-headlining shows with System of a Down on Aug. 27 and 28, 2025 in East Rutherford, NJ.
