During the Walt Disney Company Annual Meeting of Shareholders 2023 meeting, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson himself announced that a new live-action "Moana" film adaptation is in the works! The movie is still in the early stages, but we're looking forward to learning more details as they're announced in the future.
Lily is a big "Moana" fan, and she can't wait to meet Moana at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in just a few weeks. Moana will have her own meet-and-greet on Discovery Island, starting April 22 (which is both Earth Day and Animal Kingdom's 25th anniversary!).
Later this year, we'll also see the debut of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. This new walkthrough attraction will let guests of all ages interact with water and learn about its importance.
