Overview of the Skipper Society on the All-New Disney Treasure
Cruise into the Skipper Society on deck three of the Disney Treasure, just past the Grand Hall and across from the Haunted Mansion Parlor. This open lounge's natural colors and camp-style furnishings pay homage to the trusted skippers who captain the Jungle Cruise attraction worldwide, navigating the Nile, Amazon and Congo Rivers as part of their adventures.
When you enter the Skipper Society, you'll gain access to an entirely new riverboat: the Ems Empress, named after the Ems River where the Disney Treasure made her first voyage to sea. You'll see a sign behind the bar and billowing sails overhead, with nostalgic touches to the iconic ride around the lounge. Listen for spiels from skippers worldwide in English, Dutch, French, Cantonese and more. Vintage luggage stacked behind the bar houses stickers from locations featured on Jungle Cruises worldwide. And even the chandeliers nod to some of the animals you may have spotted while riding the attraction. In honor of the original attraction at Disneyland Park, the plants throughout the Skipper Society are the same foliage you'll see in the park. The green and red shades of the walls of the Skipper Society match the ride marquee from Magic Kingdom at Disney World.
