It's the one we frogs have been patiently waiting for! Over the past month or two, Disney Parks has been regularly teasing the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure with sneak peeks of the musical critters you'll meet in the bayou and the incredibly lifelike Audio-Animatronics. (We cannot wait to see the Mama Odie one!) Now, we finally know the grand opening date for the ride at Magic Kingdom — June 28, 2024! Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland is still set to debut in late 2024. More information about previews for cast members, annual passholders and DVC members will be available starting May 14, 2024.
We still don't have any details about whether a virtual queue will be used or if it will become an individual Lightning Lane selection (both of which have been the usual pattern when new attractions open, including TRON Lightcycle Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind). That info is still to come, but as soon as we find out officially, we'll be sure to update our guide for Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
We can't wait for the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure this summer! In addition to the new ride's debut, there will be summer fun at all four theme parks and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort — including the opening of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza at EPCOT, a new Joy meet-and-greet at Hollywood Studios, a 30th-anniversary celebration for "The Lion King" at Animal Kingdom and a new drone show at Disney Springs.
